The Lion of England is one of the best-known symbols in English history. The beast symbolizes the regime's values of strength, pride, courage, and dignity.


In the center is the iconic effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, sculpted by Jody Clark in 2015. The Queen is presented in all her brilliance at the age of 89. The inscriptions "Elizabeth II," "DG REG FD," and the face value of "25 Pounds" are etched around the Queen.

An image of the regal lion that guards Hampton Court Palace's Moat Bridge is depicted on the coin's reverse side. In this design, the lion wears a lovely crown and a shield with impaled arms.


This series are coins struck in silver, gold, and platinum and come in varied sizes depending on the metal type.


This particular coin contains ¼ ounce of .9999 pure gold.
