The portrait was created by Jody Clark in 2015 for the Royal Mint of England.

An ox and its young calf are shown in the reverse field of 2021 Australian Silver Lunar Ox Coins. The adult calf is standing under a large branch from a cherry blossom tree while its young calf stands nearby looking up to the adult ox.
