This is the last 1 drachma coin from my collection. It has a corvette, a boat of the 1821 Independence fight, and the portrait of great fighter Constantine Kanaris (1793-1877), an admiral, freedom fighter and politician, who played an important role in the War of Greek Independence.

It is a standard circulation coin from the Third Modern Drachma coin period that circulated from 1976 to 1986. It is made of nickel brass, weighs 4 gr, has a diameter of 21 mm and a thickness of 1.55 mm.
