Now when you go to the Market, there will be a tab called "Other Items", where you can buy and sell Packs, Lands, Totems and Bonds.

Purchases in this new market can be made using Credits or DEC, while payments are made in DEC only. Remember that there is a 5% fee on the amount received from a sale.

It is worth mentioning that it is not possible to sell or buy either Node Licenses or Skins currently, but it is very likely that they will be added in the future.

This new tab on the market temporarily offers exclusive products to be sold within splinterlands, unlike cards, which can be bought and rented on sites like Peakmonsters or MonsterMarket, for example.

The splinterlands team doesn't seem to be happy with pack sales and is trying to speed it up in some ways. We recently saw the proposal to burn packs, which was approved by the DAO.

Now we have a year-end sale for bulk purchases, offering 40% off bonus packs, promo card, potions to open the packs and even 20% discount on the ZenLedger software. Still, in the higher tiers, we have bonuses like free runi, level 10 Guild Hall and classes with NFTy Arcade.

These actions aim to encourage players to buy more packs, thus reducing their quantity and creating more resources for the game to continue operating in this prolonged bear market.

The splinterlands team's Christmas present is a promo card! Anyone who purchases a Chaos Legion or Tower defense pack between November 29th and December 21st will receive a new, as-yet-unidentified promo card.

1 Pack purchased = 1 Promo card. Thus, if many packs continue to be purchased, as we have seen, there will be many copies of this card, reducing its rarity. However, it will continue to be a good card to use, as it offers a bonus in battles in case of victory, as it is PROMO.
