I’ve been playing this game for several months now; my Hive account was created in August, when I bought my Splinterlands Spellbook, so no long after, I found out about this game and started playing it.

In the beginning, I guess, I was like everyone else… although I bought some packs to verify my account, I wasn’t lucky enough to get an important card, so I struggled quite a lot to buy that second Pizza Box. Luckily, the game is merciful enough to gift you some cards and packs, if you reach certain amount of missions, to help you grow. I couldn’t wait… I got anxious and I bought one pack for 10k, while I was insulting myself for being so weak, but look how things are, that inside that pack was a Legendary, an Epic and a Rare card. I don´t remember which cards were the last two, but it doesn’t mattered. What mattered was that I pulled out an Artist card, “winkandwoo”, that brought 7k fans, practically tripling the quantity that I already had. The rest of my stats highly increased too: +8k Skill, +550 Luck, +125 I.M. But after that single pack, although I bought 12 packs with 100k Starbits, that I gathered quite quickly, thanks to winkandwoo, I never got a Legendary again. ![Bar.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/axelx12/23tbAxhrvLHHadovtqULTmARE2ttyp4MYrdrCTpFTt33nEkzz2vqM1erVTrCEW1nSPbDR.png) ##### What I'm doing right now I’d be lying if I say that I know every aspect of the game, which I should, considering the amount of time invested, but Splinterlands took a major part of my attention. However, since I achieved my Splinterlands goal of reaching Silver League, which a big part was thanks to funding my gameplay through Starbits, I decided to stregthhen my position in Rising Star by learning and making use of all the tools at hand.

The Rising Star game introduced me into my first Curation Trail a while ago, so I’ve been profiting from that for quite some time. If you don’t know what a Curation Trail is, check this [post](https://peakd.com/hive-195370/@risingstargame/how-to-join-the-rising-star-curation-trail-to-support-the-community-and-yourself), from the game. It’s a very basic concept that grants you passive income. Another thing that I started doing recently, is allocating some Starbits in a Liquidity Pool. Is a small share for now, but little by little is making me earn some rewards every day.

These are a couple of things that you can do, but there are many others. Al principio, supongo, era como todos los demás… aunque compré algunos packs para verificar mi cuenta, no tuve la suerte de obtener una tarjeta importante, así que luché bastante para comprar esa segunda Pizza Box. Afortunadamente, el juego es lo suficientemente misericordioso como para regalarte algunas cartas y packs, si alcanzas cierta cantidad de misiones, para ayudarte a crecer. El resto de mis estadísticas también aumentaron mucho: +8k Habilidad, +550 Suerte, +125 I.M. Sin embargo, dado que logré mi objetivo de Splinterlands de llegar a la Liga de Plata, que en gran parte se debió a financiar mi juego a través de Starbits, decidí fortalecer mi posición en Rising Star aprendiendo y haciendo uso de todas las herramientas disponibles.

El juego Rising Star me introdujo en mi primer Curation Trail hace un tiempo, así que me he estado beneficiando de eso durante bastante tiempo. Es un concepto muy básico que te otorga ingresos pasivos. Otra cosa que comencé a hacer recientemente es asignar algunos Starbits en un Pool de Liquidez. Es una pequeña parte por ahora, pero poco a poco me está haciendo ganar algunas recompensas cada día.

Estas son un par de cosas que puedes hacer, pero hay muchas otras.
