LeoDex: A True Evolution In The Ecosystem

Been a while we saw a true evolution in the Hive/Leo space. I miss those days where the Leo team was trying to connect the Hive ecosystem with the EVM ecosystem. We all loved the bHive,pHive,bHBD, pHBD idea. Made lots of sense. Few days ago I was talking about getting a cold wallet to store my coins, but before getting it, I need to know the assets it supports. I was impressed as I found some assets found in it, but Hive was not supported, but guess what was supported instead, bHive. I think bHive was supported in ledger cold wallet for obvious EVM compatible reasons. Hive is a great coin and a great blockchain, but unfortunately, Hive is still widely unknown and less utilise.

This just proves the point that no matter how great your product or technology is, when people don’t use it or utilize it, it will suck. Is sad to see other subpar products getting all the praises and attention that Hive should be getting. This is mostly because we don’t have enough demand and people to use Hive. Seeing the Leodex evolution made me really happy and excited, because, now we don’t have to focus on the Hive ecosystem. The Leodex dapp was focused on just the Hive ecosystem, which is trading the Hive engine tokens. But now, it has expanded, we are now seeing the Leodex rebranding and launching a DEX swap that supports Hive.

The LEODEX swap is more complex than before, so you will need to educate yourself to understand this Leodex, I found a post by @gadrian in What the Heck Is KeyStore? . This is because you need to set up a keystore to use the Leodex, I was confused when I first saw that, because this is not something I am used to in other defi platforms. Aside that, I think this new Leodex is a great idea and an awesome evolution. Glad that the inleo platform is there, it’s another way to advertise inleo, thereby advertising Hive.
