HivePowerUpDay or HivePUD is the first day of every month. I am sure you have heard about the importance of powering up your liquid hive.
The PowerUp process is when we take liquid assets (HIVE, in this case) and stake it on-chain. In very simplistic terms, it's akin to buying stock, proving that you believe in the future of the chain. In return for the stake, those who PowerUp have a greater vote-value when they upvote posts (which, in turn, earn greater Curation Rewards), have more Resource Credits (RC) with which to transact with the blockchain and earn 'dividends' of HP awarded periodically over time. source

It was a busy month for me, maybe I was compensating for the lack of engagement in the months of September, and October... who knows. Anyways, I just counted and found that I did 23 posts in this last month. A stark improvement from the past months.
This month I earned about $134 as author rewards, my personal best so far and few extra HP as curation rewards.
I have been depositing HBD in my savings. Now I have over 100 HBD there. I don't necessarily do deposits on HPUD but throughout the month.
PowerUP
I powered up 15 HIVE this HPUD. This took me to over 1150 HP.
My goal for this week is to add more HP while also increasing the amount of HBD in my savings. I want to add at least 20 HBD this month to my HBD savings account.
Lastly, I want to thank the organizers for organizing this event every month. And to all those who make this event successful by doing their bits and powering up whatever they can. Every bit of hive powered up shows the trust people have in Hive. I am proud to be a hivian and will always be.
