What your traffic analysis on Leofinance.io can teach you!

Research how much traffic you generate

Since @l337m45732 showed how you can check your own generated traffic on Leofinance.io, I was extremely interested in the outcome of that for my own account. For various reasons, I wanted to know what content is viewed the most, and that is surprisingly not always the content that gets the most upvotes. But also how much it is viewed and especially, where do they come from geographically. Because that is very important. I will elaborate on that below.

What can it teach you?

Well first of all, earning through Hive and Leo is fun in the short run, and necessary. All the rewards earned every day are needed to keep the platform sustainable and attractive. But eventually the goal must be to attract more and new users. And this is where all this information comes in very handy. Where are we reaching these people, through what routes to they visit your blog, and where do they come from, and last but not least, what do they like to read.

My result of the last 30 days was quite surprising to me, because I don't share my posts on Twitter, there is no traffic from there. I got 129 unique visitors, and the posts that got the most attention where about scams through NFTs and a post about Hive and HBD already making a difference in third world countries. Both of those posts were quite could earners on Hive and Leo, but not the top posts of the last 30 days. Nevertheless they attracted the most new people to Leofinance, and that is important for me. More users means more upvotes in the long run, and a higher price for Leo and Hive.
Surprisingly, 24 % of the visitors of my Leo blog came from Germany, followed by the US with 19 %. Then Turkey, Ukraine and Nigeria. Very interesting information to know when it comes to new posts. Maybe it is a good idea to retarget these visitors with posts about information that could be interesting for those geographic regions.

Retargeting

Marketingwise we know that retargeting is incredibly important to get interested people over the line. Sometimes it takes several visits for people before they eventually take the last step to get involved. That is why this information is so important to know, and should be used to act upon with the content of future posts. At least that is what I am going to do.

If you want to check out your traffic, you can do through this link and put in your address where ("your username") stands.
