Educate me

As an amateur photographer I am intrigued by the phenomenon of Non Fungible Tokens. I have seen just about anything possible to create as virtual art passing by as NFT. But in my opinion it has great value for photography lovers. Even amateur photographers could sell their photos as NFT’s and make an extra buck with their hobby.

But here comes the big question, how do you do this? Where do you start? Is there a cost involved to “register” your picture on a blockchain, and how?

Can anyone give me a 101 on this?
