Naturally, since we were little we have always had contact with money, whether to buy candy, ice cream, or any other product that is required to be exchanged for money. However, one of the experiences was to save money in an old bank of the Bank of Venezuela, which my parents had kept but not used. I took this initiative on my own, without knowing what I was doing. Fond memories have made me relive dear friends.

Como es natural, desde pequeños siempre hemos tenido contacto con el dinero, ya sea, para comprar chucherías, helados, o cualquier otro producto que se requiera intercambiar por dinero. Sin embargo, una de las experiencias, fue la de guardar dinero en una alcancía antigua del Banco de Venezuela, la cual mis padres tenían guardada pero sin uso. Esta iniciativa la tomé por cuenta propia, sin saber lo que estaba haciendo. Gratos recuerdos me han hecho revivir queridos amigos.

Money is very important for life, not for vanity, but it helps us to meet basic needs, and to solve problems that require its use; and boy was it, since many medical events were remedied. Like every child, I told him dad, saving is this, and I showed him the piggy bank, he was surprised and said, that's what I mean. From there I understood what I had started.

Tiempo después, mis padres, sin saber que de forma inconciente había iniciado a ahorrar; me preguntaron que si sabía de donde se obtiene el dinero y su importancia, respondí que no. Me indicaron, primero, los caramelos, ropa, alimentos, se compran con dinero obtenido honradamente a través del trabajo, pero se debe aprender a no gastarlo todo, hay que ahorrar una parte, que es guardar dinero en un banco o en un lugar seguro. El dinero es muy importante para la vida, no por vanidad, pero nos ayuda a solventar las necesidades básicas, y a solucionar problemas que requieran su uso; y vaya que así fue, ya que muchos eventos médicos fueron subsanados. Como todo niño, le dije papá, ahorrar es esto, y le enseñe la alcancía, él se sorprendió y dijo, a eso me refiero. De allí entendí lo que había iniciado.

Cuando tenía 11 años, mi primera compra real a esta edad y en navidad; ocurrió por una remesa de 500 bolívares, enviada por mi abuelo paterno que vivía en Maturin, estado Monagas, Venezuela. Recuerdo que eran 3 billetes de 100bs. marrones y 2 billetes de 100bs de los rojos. Con eso compré lo que se dice la pinta del 24, y lo que me rindió, porque adquirí 2 pantalones, 2 camisas y 1 par de zapatos. Aquellos tiempos inolvidables.

Mis padres, de una manera u otra, siempre me dieron dinero para adquirir cosas. Otra fue, cuando tenía 12 años estaba en 2 año de bachillerato, y estaban de moda unos famosos jeans benetton que no podía adquirir, ya que para ese momento mis padres no tenían para comprarlo. Por último, y tal vez la anécdota o vivencia que más me marcó, fue un día, cuando en casa mis padres no habían cobrado y se debía comprar alimentos; y yo ansioso por abrir la alcancía, ofrecí su contenido; recuerdo que en ese momento alcanzó para comprar un pollo a la brasa; ese fue mi aporte a la familia producto del ahorro.
