**¿Que tal Hiver's?** Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la historia de mi viaje a Brasil, el cual estuvo lleno de contratiempos y sorpresas, sigue leyendo esta mágica aventura. **How about Hiver's?** Today I want to share with you the story of my trip to Brazil, which was full of setbacks and surprises, keep reading this magical adventure. ![Screenshot_20210602-112802_Photos.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmWqd3hMNbTq3LoQxx6iBWQk3FGTvP7Z2BofLrySNM6M3e/Screenshot_20210602-112802_Photos.jpg) Fué en el año 2017 cuando estaba junto con mi esposo visitando a mi cuñada, fuimos a saludar y posiblemente a despedir porque estaban planificando un viaje a Brasil que se realizaría en unos 5 días después de nuestra visita aproximadamente, empezamos a hablar y nos dicen, "¿Por qué no nos acompañan? Así conocen y seria un viaje divertido", lo pensamos y nos animamos a ir. Le comentamos sobre nuestro viaje a otra cuñada también hermana de mi esposo, quien con su familia siempre nos acompañaban a viajar, a ellos también les gustó la idea y quisieron ir. Llegó el día del viaje y estábamos súper emocionados, íbamos 3 familias en 3 carros distintos pero viajando juntos, hacíamos paradas a comer a tomar refrigerios y seguíamos, viajábamos desde la ciudad de Maturin Estado Monagas, dormimos ese día en puerto ordaz estado Bolivar y salimos el otro día hasta la ciudad de Santa Elena de Uairén Estado Bolivar, era algo lejos pero fuimos disfrutando cada momento y paisaje del viaje. It was in 2017 when I was together with my husband visiting my sister-in-law, we went to say hello and possibly to say goodbye because they were planning a trip to Brazil that would take place approximately 5 days after our visit, we started talking and they told us, "Why don't you join us? So they know and it would be a fun trip", we thought about it and we encouraged ourselves to go. We told another sister-in-law, my husband's sister, about our trip, who with her family always accompanied us to travel, they too liked the idea and wanted to go. Buscamos mucho hasta que conseguimos una posada donde nos recibieron con mucha amabilidad, pasaríamos una noche, pues nuestro plan era surtir gasolina en la mañana y seguir a nuestro destino. We arrived at Santa Elena de uairén, super tired, very hungry and almost out of fuel, it was very difficult to get gasoline to continue our trip, it was night and we looked for a hotel to spend the night, it turns out that this was also very difficult, to get lodging for being a border city of Venezuela with Brazil. Pues tuvimos que pasar una semana más en esa ciudad hasta que logramos llenar los tanques y poder seguir. Ya estábamos cansados, habíamos bajado mucho nuestro presupuesto económico gastando en comida, posada y demás, lo pasábamos muy bien, pues disfrutamos cada día y hacíamos cosas divertidas. Hasta que un día tuvimos éxito y logramos echar gasolina, ese mismo día salimos. The morning came and we left very early happy and excited to refuel and when we got to the service station, the queues were endless, people who had been waiting for several days to fill up gas. Well, we had to spend another week in that city until we were able to fill the tanks and be able to continue. We were already tired, we had lowered our economic budget a lot by spending on food, posada and others, we had a great time, because we enjoyed each day and did fun things. Until one day we were successful and managed to get gas, that same day we went out. ![Screenshot_20210602-114700_Photos.jpg](https://images.hive.blog/DQmPVZQXQfPX84ZoWswC43sfozPFWBCs81yeHr3u854iF6M/Screenshot_20210602-114700_Photos.jpg) Cruzamos la frontera y en el proceso de identificación, mientras una de mis cuñadas se registraba con su familia, los demás nos adelantamos un poco y quedamos en vernos en un lugar más adelante, eran solo unos metros de distancia, esperamos por muchas horas, ya no teníamos señal en nuestros teléfonos, nos devolvimos hasta la zona de identificación y no los encontramos, no sabíamos que hacer hasta que decidimos seguir hasta Brasil. Compramos varias cosas y nos fuimos al hotel a descansar. We arrived in the afternoon almost at night, we looked for a hotel to stay and we tried to connect to the WiFi to communicate with others without success, we went out at night to a supermarket and I wanted to go crazy buying sweets and chocolates because they were super cheap compared to the from my country, there we found Venezuelans working, people we did not know but when we spoke with them they could not contain the tears for missing their country, their families and their people, it was a very emotional moment. Empezamos a buscar la salida y solo manejamos en círculos, llegábamos al mismo lugar, estábamos perdidos, el GPS no funcionaba, hasta que decidimos preguntar a alguien por la salida hacia Venezuela, cuando mi esposo se detuvo, bajó el vidrio para hablar con una persona que transitaba y escuchó a lo lejos una vocecita que decía, "Tío, tio" y cuando miró hacia arriba, era su sobrina (de la familia que se nos había perdido) desde la ventana de un hotel, ella justo en ese momento se había asomado a ver el paisaje y resulta que nos vio, no lo podíamos creer, era algo muy inesperado, el momento exacto y el lugar indicado. Sorprendidos nos bajamos en su hotel nos abrazamos, contamos lo que sucedió, resulta que en la frontera ellos no nos vieron y siguieron, pensaron que nos habíamos ido y llegaron a Brasil primero que nosotros. Igual ya estábamos cansados por lo que decidimos continuar con nuestro viaje y regresar a Venezuela, ellos quisieron quedarse y pasaron 1 mes allá. Volvimos a la posada en Santa Elena de Uairén, luego en otro post les contaré como fue nuestro regreso desde esa ciudad hasta nuestro lugar de origen. We started looking for the exit and we only drove in circles, we arrived at the same place, we were lost, the GPS did not work, until we decided to ask someone for the exit to Venezuela, when my husband stopped, he lowered the glass to talk to a person who was passing by, he heard a little voice in the distance that said, "Uncle, uncle" and when he looked up, it was his niece (from the family that had lost us) from a hotel window, she had just looked out at that moment to see the landscape and it turns out that he saw us, we could not believe it, it was something very unexpected, the exact moment and the right place. Surprised, we got off at their hotel, we hugged each other, we told what happened, it turns out that at the border they didn't see us and they followed, they thought we had left and arrived in Brazil before us. We were already tired so we decided to continue our trip and return to Venezuela, they wanted to stay and spent 1 month there. We returned to the inn in Santa Elena de Uairén, then in another post I will tell you how it was our return from that city to our place of origin.
