LBI Contest 1 - 2022

Authored by: @hetty-rowan

Give away 3 x 5 LBI

It's Tuesday, January 4, 2022, and the LBI followers know what that means. Today I am going to give away 3 x 5 LBI. I asked you what you thought was the best you had achieved last year, and what you would like to achieve this year. I also told them that the answers would be judged purely on feeling (my feeling). No wrong answer possible… The 3 people who manage to hit me with their answer each get 5 LBI.

So before I go on to tell you who these three lucky winners are, let's take a look at the state of the crypto.

No year-end blasts

The year-end blasts that no doubt many of us had hoped to see… they didn't come. Or you also have to like a blast down. It is also looking quite red in the markets at the start of this new year. But while chatting with @silverstackeruk this week, we both decided that 2022 might not be quite as bearish as what many people undoubtedly think.

We were chatting for a bit, and we were talking about Bitcoin, how strange, huh? At that time I told what my theory is. If I had to come up with a roadmap for Bitcoin this year, it would look a bit like this:

January and February: Both months when we are going down with Bitcoin, I'm not going to make any statements about how far we're going down, but it could well be a deep dip. I would expect a slow recovery around the end of February.

In March that recovery will continue and April and May will be months that your portfolio will look very good, I would almost say, that's the first opportunity to take a little profit.

June will be a slow month with few changes, and July will even be a month of a dip, but then…

In August and September, Bitcoin rockets like a comet for a parabolic move. After which the price in October and November makes a terrible plunge. And in December we all come to the conclusion that the Crypto Winter has started.

When I expressed these thoughts to @silverstackeruk he said the following;

that's pretty much the exact same way I would roadmap it in my mind. peak in September

This is all pure feeling, speculation

And maybe, it's for the most based on hopes, because we just don't want to accept that we missed the peak last year?

What will eventually become true of this, or whether 2022 will even resemble these thoughts at all, we have to wait and see. I'm not a Bitcoin analyst, I'm definitely not a Bitcoin expert, so please don't ever take this as financial advice, because it definitely isn't. It's also not based on Bitcoin historical data, it's just my feelings and thoughts that I put into words. Nothing more and nothing less.

Let's look back to this at the end of this year

However, I thought it would be nice to write it down here so that at the end of 2022 we can see what really happened, and how 'good' or 'bad' I was feeling at the start of the new year.

Do you also have a feeling about this year? Or not a 'feeling', but looked into the cards ... used a glass ball? I am very curious.

Now back to the last contest of last year. Who touched me with their answers?

First I want to say, thank you all! I would have loved to have given everyone who participated 5 LBI, but I had to make a choice. There could only be 3 winners!

The first to win 5 LBI is : @lammbock!

I had a good laugh with his answer, and for that alone I thought it was worth rewarding this answer with 5 LBI. We are too serious, and often forget that there are also things to laugh about. And laughing is just so good, so because he managed to make me laugh in this quite serious environment… Congratulations on 5 LBI!

The second answer that won 5 LBI was given by: @namelessnameless

I can imagine the achievement he describes so well. Stepping out of your comfort zone is not as easy as it is sometimes said. It takes a lot of you personally to do that, and I think that should always be rewarded. The wishes he has for the coming year show quite a bit of ambition, and there is nothing wrong with setting goals, just be careful not to set them too high. Challenging yourself is good, but never ask the impossible of yourself.

Congratulations on 5 LBI!

And then the last 5 LBI go to: @ammonite.leo

Because I loved reading that you did a sand sculpture exhibition despite your world being turned upside down. That shows perseverance. And I hope that winning the 5 LBI will help make your 2022 better.

Congratulations on the 5 LBI!

The first contest of this new year!

And for that we go back to the familiar ... what is xxx worth?

This week I described Wonderland TIME. So the question for this week is not that difficult. Right?

What is 1 TIME worth this Friday, January 7, 2022 at 12:00 noon Central European Time?

And of course you know that your answer to participate must be given here in the comment section, before Thursday evening January 6th at 6 PM.

Good luck everyone… and wish you all a great week!
