We have recently had a huge spike in HIVE price. As usual with this crypto, after a spike, it did what it always does and drops losing many of the gains. Doesn't matter for us who power up all the HIVE we have, but matters for people that are getting in just now and might get frightened by the sudden moves.

Speculative talk aside, another thing that may attract or scare away new users from this blockchain is its content. Hive is sadly but widely known as a tinfoil hat right-wing circlejerk tank.

Regardless of what you feel, regardless if you trust the conspiracy theories that run wild around here, the material fact is that it scares people away. Yeah, call them "blue pill" or whatever, but still doesn't change the fact that all publications and ads outside Hive about Hive have comments calling it bad names. I personally experienced that fear from this blockchain while trying to invite friends.
