Definitivamente mis creencias surgen del ejemplo de mi hermana mayor, a pesar de que su partida fue inesperada hace ya varios años, siento que fue la influencia más indeleble en mí. Recuerdo que en la adolescencia me sentía invisible para algunas personas, pero ella me llevaba de la mano, se concentraba en ayudarme en esos detalles de superar el acné, de mi timidez y de las veces que lloraba, cosas que nadie más sabia de mí. Fue lindo compartir un espacio y tiempo junto a ella. Ahora bien, una de las cosas que más tengo presente es que la familia es el epicentro de las creencias, realidad, morales, espirituales. Desde que somos niños, una vez que nos humanizamos en el mundo, así que los estándares de ética moral, nobleza y otros valores se fundamentan en esas personas que nos enseñan a ser quiénes somos. Una de las cosas que me repito desde su partida es que debo ser muy fuerte, sin importar las situaciones o complicaciones que se presentan. Muchas veces he pensado en la falta que nos hizo a todos, pero seguramente quería que viéramos que es feliz desde donde está, feliz por sus hijos. Obviamente que en la vida, en el camino, algunas cosas rebasaron los límites, el respeto y la tolerancia en algunas situaciones que personalmente me costaron mucho. Y en los momentos más débiles tuve que flaquear, pero lo superé, y me repito que lo hice bien. Nunca me voy a arrepentir de lo que viví y sé que algunos errores no fueron simplemente míos. Siempre habrá personas que nos sigan juzgando, contra ellos la felicidad es la mejor respuesta, ver qué bailamos, que cantamos, que florecemos, esas cosas los consume. Piensan que eternamente les debemos pleitesía y no es así, el amor tiene como respuesta amor y la intolerancia simplemente de mi parte la indiferencia.

Ahora, en el presente, mis estrategias de equilibrio es mantenerme a salvo, lograr equilibrar lo que tengo y lo que soy, me ocupa bailar, hacer ejercicios, compartir con mi hija y darle muchos abrazos, tener más amigas, hablar, vivir. Me ocupan esas cosas que me fijo como importantes ahora. De igual forma hay dos cosas universales que como estrategia de vida, nos unen y nos salvan, estas cosas son: la música y las palabras (leer y escribir), sí es verdad, todas las artes nos salvan, pero estás dos están presentes siempre en la normalidad del sonido, de la luz, de lo que ven nuestros ojos y entiende nuestra mente. ¿Quién en una tarde de domingo no puede refugiarse en escribir mientras escucha buena música? Exacto, esta iniciativa me permitió hablar de mí y recordar porque me gusta ser quien soy Para finalizar, si mi Dios me da cada día la oportunidad de un nuevo día lleno de esas cosas, de música, de sol, de palabras, entonces estoy en sintonía con ese equilibrio y cada día debo ser más fuerte para honrar a los que amé, a los que están y a los que amo.

Now, in the present, my strategies for balance are to keep myself safe, to balance what I have and what I am, to dance, to exercise, to share with my daughter and give her lots of hugs, to have more friends, to talk, to live. I am busy with those things that I set as important now. In the same way there are two universal things that as a life strategy, unite us and save us, these things are: music and words (reading and writing), yes it is true, all the arts save us, but these two are always present in the normality of sound, of light, of what our eyes see and what our mind understands. Who on a Sunday afternoon can't take refuge in writing while listening to good music? Exactly, this initiative allowed me to talk about myself and to remember why I like to be who I am.
