How to sell AMP from Century Train game on Alcor Exchange

First of all AMP is not really tradable token. If you are not familiar with this game, Train of the Century is blockchain game on WAX network and main token of the game is Tocium.

Tocium can be trade on Alcor for example with WAX but also with other tokens as well like Alien Worlds TLM, nefty or aether.

Current price of Tocium is around 7200 tokens for 1 WAX which is $0.07 right now.

What is AMP then? AMP stands for Anomatic Particles and it is used in Century Train game to jump across multiple stations in a single run.

How do you earn AMP? During their runs trains have encounters with different entities and one of them can earn you AMPs. You can earn from 1 to 12 AMPs per encounter.

Now if you have few AMPs to spare you can actually trade them on Alcor and here is how.

First of all go to Tools of the Century app and login with your wax wallet. You can here exchange AMP to wrapped AMP.

WAMP is an eosio.token compatible 1:1 wrap of AMP. It can be used to trade AMP using swap pools.
It also has 4 places of precision to allow for better price building in those pools. You can only convert full units of WAMP back into (the simpleassets based) AMP FT though.
There is always a 1:1 backing of AMP and WAMP and wrapping and unwrapping does not incur any fees.

As you can see if you have let's say 100 AMPs you will get 100 WAMP tokens which is actually tradable token on Alcor. Those 100 AMPs can get you 5260 Tocium tokens.

Once you have Tocium it's easy to exchange to wax, also on Alcor and from there you can exchange wax to Hive or Leo via Tribaldex for example or LeoDex.

I hope you found this short guide useful.
