Starting an Airbnb which turned into a registered BnB in my retirement years has been a big learning curve, hard work, great fun as we get to meet fascinating people from all spheres of life, and of course rewarding financially otherwise we would not have continued doing this.
Living in a coastal city means Fridays and Mondays are absolutely crazy; business guests depart to go home to loved ones, and the folk from inland arrive to have fun on the beach of course!
This was the scenario before the awful lockdowns and restrictions since last year March and the scene changed to mainly receiving business guests.
Hive came to my rescue during that period as I've written about before.
Thankfully that has changed, so of course Fridays and Mondays are crazy with changeovers -

This is why I'm only now getting our Silverbloggers HivePUD post out.
The very first day of every month always is a very special day here on Hive as it is HivePUD (Power Up Day).
There are many who work behind the scenes to make this initiative special and I will mention some of the main players.

How did we fare with our HivePUD?
We powered up 50 Hive and have finally reached the magical 1000 HP mark so are sitting pretty at 1004 HP, that is six months after starting this community, and we also have delegations of 6143 HP thanks to our generous sponsors!
