Why Elon Musk should get on Decentralized media protocol rather than buying 100% of Twitter

The World's Richest man Elon Musk wants to buy 100% of Twitter shares to make it private for the sake of freedom of speech and censorship-free.

The headlines are circling on the trending news about Elon Musk's Twitter hostile takeover, two weeks after revealing he's accumulated a 9% stake in the company. Musk has criticized Twitter for its failing to live up to free-speech principles and saying in a regulatory filing that it needs to be transformed into a private company.

Elon Musk offered to buy the social media Twitter for $54.20 a share, or about $43 billion comparing it to a lower current price of Twitter of $45 per share.

“I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy,”

Musk wrote in a letter sent to Twitter Chairman Bret Taylor

Problem the Musk wants to solve is the dying free speech and someone said that Elon Musk is our last hope for free speech on the internet.

So what causes the problem with the free speech today? It is centralization...

All mainstream platforms are built on a centralized model which means the only people in control of their websites are developers directed by corporate boards paid by shareholders and regulated by governments they are the ones who dictate and implement the terms of service and users have only two options to obey or leave.

You have no mechanisms to protect your rights on your own you are at the mercy of centralized corporations so the most obvious cure is Decentralization.

I just made this video a year ago, it aged well and still useful to point out the real issue and the solution

We want to encourage everyone to come out of Twitter and show how hive can help solve the free-speech problem
