When there is time, we can decide when it is better to buy (discounts) - Cuando hay tiempo, podemos decidir cuándo es mejor comprar (descuentos)

Something that is very new to me, and that refers that I am in another country that does give value to shopping within the country, is that there are days where the consumption of different products or services is promoted, either the case of Black Friday, but also Cyber Monday and I am currently looking at the 3 days without VAT (without value added tax), which has caught me off guard but wanting to investigate more about it.

What I could see is that there are 3 days a year and in this case it would be tomorrow, in 15 days and the last one would be on December 3, where it is subtracted to what is added to the government initiative, the 19% that represents this tax, and where as we can see, the only one who does not receive benefits would be the government, while businesses have a discount of 19% on what qualifies and where no business should stop earning benefits.

Unlike Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this time it is known that businesses are still earning 100% of their profits, so there should not be limited offers, since for logical reasons, the more they sell, the more profits they would have, because it is as if they sell at any other time of the year, but with the difference that this time they can expect many more customers in a short time.

Personally, it has taken me by surprise to see this type of consumption patterns, since I come from a country that did not have these things, and very rarely you could see discounts of this style, which makes me spend unnecessarily at the beginning because if I waited a few days or weeks, I could get what I am looking for at a lower price, but unfortunately I make rookie mistakes or in my case, migrant mistakes.

It is necessary to know what are the consumption patterns in our country, because we can see that there are things that we could get cheaper in the future and we only have to wait a few days or weeks, so if we have time to wait (it is not urgent), we can save money on something that we would have to spend anyway.

Patience in investments is not only about knowing when to buy or sell in stocks or invest in physical businesses, but it is also about being able to wait and know when it is better to buy something we want to buy (product or service) and it is not necessarily going to give us money back, but it is an investment to improve our quality of work or life.
