To begin with, I want to put in context the reason for this article, and that is that I am an Axie Infinity player since the beginning of July and I still have not been able to recover the totality of my investment, but I have also seen how my return on investment has been decreasing over time, which I do not feel bad about because I can see that the developers of Axie Infinity have been talking about the new steps they are going to take, and in the same way I trust CUB because of the developers and the roadmap they have, I do the same with Axie Infinity.
I was able to have the opportunity to get in at a bad time, and I say opportunity, because even though I had many doubts about the developers' ability to deliver what they promised, and had many angry moments because of the server failure, I could see the reason why exponential growth is not always a healthy thing.
The interesting thing about this story, is that they have also learned, and even when many people complain that the ROI is going down and it is getting harder and harder to get revenue in this game, the developers say that they know this happens, but that it may be worse to make the yield increase considerably again, for the same reason as what happened in July, and that is that they are not prepared for an exponential growth again.
Personally it gives me more confidence to know that they are prioritizing the scalability and organic growth of the game, and not an abrupt growth point where even though a lot of money can be made, the product has a lot of failures because they cannot sustain this growth, and in other words, they are giving more importance to the product than to their stock price (so to speak).
I am a patient person because I have been able to build several sources of income that give me the peace of mind to wait as long as I have to wait for another source of income to grow, as I have also learned that it is better to have a slow but steady growth, because then we can have more certainty that we will have a good profit over time, compared to a bet on exponential growth and an uncertain future where we do not know what comes next.
This is something that we must see as people who create a business, as shareholders (investors) or as clients, because a bad management of growth can affect a business structure a lot, and this can end up in a negative result, even when you can have a moment of euphoria because of good numbers.

Para comenzar, quiero poner en contexto la razón de este artículo, y es que yo soy un jugador de Axie Infinity desde inicios de Julio y aún no he podido recuperar la totalidad de mi inversión, pero también he visto como mi retorno de inversión ha estado disminuyendo con el paso del tiempo, con lo cual no me siento mal debido a que puedo ver que los desarrolladores de Axie Infinity han estado hablando sobre los nuevos pasos que van a tomar, y de la misma forma que confió en CUB por los desarrolladores y el roadmap que tiene, hago lo mismo con Axie Infinity.
Pude tener la oportunidad de ingresar en un mal momento, y digo oportunidad, porque aun cuando tuve muchas dudas de la capacidad de los desarrolladores para cumplir lo que prometían, y tener muchos momentos de enojo por la falla en los servidores, pude ver la razón por la que un crecimiento exponencial no siempre es algo saludable.
Lo interesante de esta historia, es que ellos también han aprendido, y aun cuando muchas personas se quejan de que el retorno de la inversión está bajando y cada vez es más difícil conseguir ingresos en este juego, los desarrolladores dicen que saben que esto ocurre, pero que puede ser peor volver a hacer que el rendimiento aumente de forma considerable, por la misma razón de lo ocurrido en Julio, y es que no están preparados para un crecimiento exponencial nuevamente.
Personalmente me da más confianza saber que están dando prioridad a la escalabilidad y crecimiento orgánico del juego, y no a un punto de crecimiento abrupto donde aunque se pueda hacer mucho dinero, el producto tenga muchas fallas porque no pueden sostener este crecimiento, y en otras palabras, le están dando más importancia al producto que al precio de sus acciones (por decirlo de alguna manera).
Soy una persona paciente porque he podido construir varias fuentes de ingresos que me dan la tranquilidad de poder esperar el tiempo que tenga que esperar para que otra fuente de ingresos crezca, como también he aprendido que es mejor tener un crecimiento lento pero seguro, porque así podemos tener más certeza de que tendremos un buen beneficio a través del tiempo, en comparación con una apuesta por el crecimiento exponencial y un futuro incierto en el que no sabemos que viene después.
Esto es algo que debemos ver como personas que creamos un negocio, como accionistas (inversores) o como clientes, ya que un mal manejo del crecimiento puede afectar mucho a una estructura empresarial, y esto puede terminar en un resultado negativo, aun cuando se puede tener un momento de euforia por los buenos números.
