First of all, what is inflation?

It is the generalized growth of prices resulting from the increase of money in circulation. Rising prices are one of the consequences of inflation and inflation cannot be taken lightly.

When the amount of money in circulation grows disproportionately without increasing the income from goods and services that give it value, the negative effect is that the same amount of money cannot buy the same product.

As a clear example of this phenomenon we have cryptocurrencies, which have a SUPPLY, a market capitalization (total value that supports the currency) and an amount of money in circulation.

If the capitalization is maintained and the SUPPLY increases, the price of the coin plummets and a transaction that previously cost less will now cost more.

On the contrary, if the capitalization is maintained and the SUPPLY goes down, the price of the currency goes up and you will be able to buy the same product with fewer coins.

It should be noted that the price of a currency is determined by the following formula: market cap / number of coins in circulation.

What are the effects of inflation on people's economy?

  • The first of all is the loss of people's purchasing power, so that with the same amount of money they will be able to buy fewer products compared to a NON INFLATIONARY situation.

  • If this rise in prices is not accompanied by an increase in wages, people will find it very difficult to make ends meet. Ironically, if wages go up, businessmen will increase the prices of their products in search of higher profits and this favors inflation.

  • Now people will not be able to save as they used to, since they will need to consume more money to cover family expenses.

What can people do to take care of themselves?

Since it is easier for governments to add fuel to the fire regardless of the consequences, it is necessary for people to take action and start looking for alternatives.

And this is where BITCOIN comes into play!

BITCOIN as the clearest alternative to inflation

BITCOIN's limited supply (21 000 000) makes it one of the best candidates to fight inflation.

Since bitcoin can be held by individuals themselves, they do not need the intervention of any third party to make any kind of transaction.

There are many people who buy and sell bitcoin to make a profit, and that is a mistake. The bitcoin has to be used as a store of value and not as a speculative element.

Not in vain, there are many institutions and millionaire people who buy more bitcoin and keep it without spending a single satoshi.

Those people who buy and sell bitcoin are only playing with their own future, and since there is an ocean of more than 5000 cryptocurrencies to play and speculate for profit, it is foolish to use bitcoin for this purpose.

Summing up

When we come out of the current COVID crisis, the inflation crisis will come almost instantly, which little by little has been showing its face, being much more evident in developing countries.

At that time all bitcoin-savvy people would like to have at least one satoshi to give them some value.

These are not times to play around, the economic future of each person will depend on them, since traditional institutions will do very little for them.

In few words: MORE BITCOIN AND LESS DOLLAR.
