Hey everyone! I hope you are well! 🤗

While I have a terrible 'luck' missing all the contests on the chain due to all kind of things keeping my life busy lately, I'm happy that I managed to take note of this contest posted by @acidyo which is supposed to bring together all the passionate artists that have an idea of how a future Hive Business Card could look like.

Anyway, while the original post is detailed enough to find out all the details about it, as well as the prize pool, I will try to keep this post as short and to the point as possible.

I began by picking the background color which is matching the dark mode of the platform, then created the little details on two corners of each side which again, are matching the color of the logo. At this point, I've spent quite a while trying all kinds of figures because I wasn't sure if this is the right choice or if it should be more brand like including the two arrows that are part of the logo next to the diamond but I thought that it will turn out too crowded.

As you see, I decided to rotate the design created for the front side so it has some sort of continuity when it's turned on the other side.

The next step was adding the Hive logo on both sides, but additionally, I added a chain behind the logo on the front side to be more suggestive of what's everything about. Of course, that can be removed or replaced with something else if needed. For the backside, I placed the logo on the left side, keeping the ride part of the design for the details of the community.

On the 3rd step of the project, I added the little slogan of Hive in the top left corner and kept the space from the bottom right for the QR codes that were generated through myqrcode.com platform because it also allowed me to add the logo of the platform behind the code in the middle of it.

The same codes were also used and placed on the back side of the card.

While the front side of the card could be considered as completed, I continued the work for the back side where I added some details about the community which was given as an example in the original post, namely, the Philippines Community.

I know that this side was supposed to have a slight reference to the community that is going to be promoted, but considering that the front side has all the details on the platform itself, I decided to keep the back side mainly focused on the Philippines Community. Of course, every detail present in the design can be changed or removed.

For now, this is my idea for the business card of Hive, and I'm really grateful for having the opportunity to take part in this contest, no matter what the results will be. Good luck everyone and see you on the chain! ❤️
