30 Gram Chinese Silver Panda Coin (Gilded, BU) 2023

Chinese coins do not usually have a 1 OZ presentation but rather 30 grams. This is a coin that seems really precious to me. You already know the weakness that I have with colored and high relief coins. In this case, 24k gold has been used to make the pandas stand out in the engraving.
This is a typical Chinese iconography with pandas playing in a very cute way.

The edge is jagged, something I love, and the engraving is of high quality. Chinese .999 silver coins are usually uncirculated and this is no exception to that rule.

Coins with animals are very popular and more and more, in the case of Chinese pandas, it could be said that they attract all eyes.

The obverse of this Chinese silver coin features two Chinese giant pandas playing in a tree. Above all, it stands out in addition to the delicate engraving for the brightness of the pandas on the background. This is achieved by using 24k gold to highlight the figure of the two animals on the silver background. This gives a great character to the image.

On the reverse is the building dedicated to abundant harvests, a religious building in which to pray for the weather to be beneficial to farmers. And in turn with the wild fauna. This is an image that has been used on these types of coins since the 1980s.
