Twitter will be the new Noise.cash

Hello everyone...

Does anyone remember Noise. Cash? a site that wanted to compete with twitter and be the first social network of short content to give tips to users through Bitcoin Cash, I joined when this project was launched and it went incredibly well I managed to collect 0. 4 BCH in my wallet, and as the tipping concept attracted a lot of people in a short time, there were already hundreds of thousands of users earning BCH every day, also many users on leofinance joined Noise.Cash and shared their progress and we all saw that Noise.Cash could be a good source of advertising for the Leofinance site, and that this would attract traffic to leofinance interested in publishing rewards.

But after a series of announcements from the developers of the project in which they explicitly mentioned their displeasure with the promotion of other crypto sites and that if they continued the promotions they would remove or silence users who did so. This disenchanted me from Noise.cash as I saw that it was just another network of the bunch centralized where everyone had to obey all the selfish wishes of the CEO, absolutely no freedom.

But why am I telling this about a project that may be many have forgotten about because it seems that history will repeat itself but this time with twitter. There is talk that twitter is planning to use the Tip Jar feature to tip content creators in Bitcoin, something identically similar to the Noise.Cash idea.

Maybe at first this idea of Twitter and its supposed innovator Jack Dorsey will give a truly amazing result and many more people will join twitter to claim their tips in the best currency in the world. But what will happen when in a few months people start spamming and some promote other crypto sites or projects, will they also get this message?

**Our main goal is Bitcoin Cash BITCOIN adoption and that is what we want to sponsor. We do NOT want to sponsor the promotion of competing sites that promote their cryptos or other cryptos. You are still free to talk about them, of course, we just don't see why we should sponsor it with FreeTips.

Will twitter become even more centralized? What will happen to the defi and crypto projects that use twitter to promote what they develop? will they silence them? will they prevent access to people with crypto backgrounds?

Many questions now haunt my head, because knowing how are these social networks of web 2.0 centralized and where they censor whoever they want and no matter if you have a peril with many followers or you are a developer of solid and prosperous projects (as was the case of @theycallmedan) for them is very easy to remove someone they consider threatened and if they now pay the content creators, is it more justifiable censorship? Or they could also set rules and not everyone can receive these tips in bitcoin, but perhaps for a specific group?

As history repeats itself, we already know how these projects to revive the social networks that are about to die will end, but what do you think about this, do you think the bitcoin tip jar on twitter will mean something good, or rather it will be more censorship and more centralization? Let me know in the comments.
