LEO: Just Starting Out

The crypto space can be a complicated space to maneuver with its technicalities, array of coins on offer with both useful and non useful proof of work, and exchanges which can be somewhat complicated to figure out.

There are lots of useful deterrents preventing one from taking the leap and many times it requires either a very strong bull cycle or some level of experienced guidance to help a newcomer better understand the space.

Hive is somewhat different in the sense that it is a lot less complicated than most other projects on the space, or at least offers so much guidance and information that it makes the process of maneuvering a lot easier.

when starting out on Hive, it is usually the user that decides what sort of relationship it is going to be with the platform. Some are active curators, some traders, while others actively engage with the community. Whatever one does decide is after an assessment of their position, aim, and dedication to the community in general.

LEO

It doesn't take long after starting out on Hive to discover the Leofinance community, it is afterall one of the most popular and vocal communities on the Hive chain. Everyone is somewhat interested in wanting to better themselves financially which makes the issue of acceptance a general thing.

Leofinance offers more than just financial advice, with an increasing amount of investment pools that help deliver greater stability and better returns in the very volatile crypto space. The lure of improved returns can make investors jump right into any offering the space promises without necessarily maturing in the crypto space.

I myself am still maturing in this space and far from being an 'experienced investor'. As I still don't understand a lot of technical terms and offerings I have come to the conclusion that there are stages for investment based on the level of information and resources available at our disposal per time.

For instance choosing to simply hold the LEO Token is the most basic of any investment choice a user can make while becoming better informed. The rush to leap from token holder to trader should only be subject to the information we have, else we stand the risk of getting burned.

Conclusion

In the crypto space information is power, and that's why DYOR is so critical. There is absolutely no need to rush into any investment offering if there isn't enough information available on ground. Leofinance does hold a lot of promise, only to those who are able to properly harness and utilize the potential of the place properly. Also the term 'overnight millionaires' in the crypto space is largely falsehood, so there is need to patiently plan our approach to this space when starting out.
