Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post súper genial, cumpliendo el quinto día de este reto, el cual fue ideado por @kuronokenshi que pueden leer con más detalle [aquí](https://peakd.com/hive-158489/@kuronokenshi/anime-blogging-challenge-participate-and-share-eng-esp), y se basa en un blogging challenge de anime. Elegir el mejor shonen de verdad es sumamente difícil ya que existen demasiados que son buenísimos, están Dragon Ball, Inuyasha, Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, Yuyu Hakusho y muchos más que de verdad tienen historias asombrosas además de estar posicionados como los animes más exitosos de la historia. Quería poner a One Piece aquí porque es mi shonen favorito hasta ahora, pero objetivamente lo reconsideré porque no ha terminado (aunque va por un excelente camino). Sin embargo, el shonen que seleccioné tiene que ver con el personaje del que hablé el día anterior de este reto así que imagino que sabrán de cual hablo. Comencemos!

Today I bring you a super cool post, fulfilling the fifth day of this challenge, which was devised by @kuronokenshi that you can read in more detail [here](https://peakd.com/hive-158489/@kuronokenshi/anime-blogging-challenge-participate-and-share-eng-en-esp), and is based on an anime blogging challenge. Choosing the best shonen is really difficult because there are too many that are really good, there are Dragon Ball, Inuyasha, Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, Yuyu Hakusho and many more that really have amazing stories and are positioned as the most successful anime in history. I wanted to put One Piece here because it's my favorite shonen so far, but objectively I reconsidered because it's not over (although it's on an excellent path). However, the shonen I selected has to do with the character I talked about the day before this challenge so I imagine you know which one I'm talking about. Let's go!

Creo que muchos estarán de acuerdo o al menos, consideran que este anime merece un puesto como uno de los mejores shonen de la historia. La trama gira entorno a los hermanos Edward y Alphonse Elric los cuales son alquimistas, Edward es el alquimista de hierro pero siempre confunden su título con Alphonse, yaque este último básicamente está en una gran armadura de hierro. Ambos tienen una historia trágica, ya que al ser abandonados por su padre y al morir su madre quieren revivirla mediante una práctica prohibida: la trasmutación humana. Esta actividad tuvo un alto costo, ya que Edward perdió una pierna y un brazo y Alphonse perdió todo su cuerpo, dejando nada más su alma dentro de una armadura. A partir de ahí comenzamos a conocer a los demás personajes que los ayudan en la búsqueda de la piedra filosofal para volver a ser normales y además, descubrir oscuros secretos detrás de los llamados "homúnculos" los cuales representan los 7 pecados capitales.

I think many will agree or at least, consider that this anime deserves a place as one of the best shonen ever. The plot revolves around the brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric who are alchemists, Edward is the iron alchemist but they always confuse his title with Alphonse, since the latter is basically in a large iron armor. Both have a tragic history, since they were abandoned by their father and their mother died, they want to revive her through a forbidden practice: human transmutation. This activity had a high cost, since Edward lost a leg and an arm and Alphonse lost his entire body, leaving only his soul inside a suit of armor. From there we begin to meet the other characters who help them in the search for the philosopher's stone to return to normal and also discover dark secrets behind the so-called "homunculi" which represent the 7 deadly sins.

Conocemos a Roy Mustang (al cual ya le dediqué un post), el cual es el primero en conocer el estado de los hermanos Elric, proponiéndoles trabajar como alquimistas, principalmente a Edward para así buscar la manera de obtener sus cuerpos, además de enmendar su pecado de haber realizado la trasmutación humana. También conocemos a el simpático alquimista Alex Armstrong, su hermana la poderosísima Olivier Armstrong, al temible Scar, al súper genial Ling Yao, la tierna pero fuerte Mei Chang, la mejor amiga de los protagonistas Winry Rockbell, y un personaje que, aunque no aparezca mucho tiempo después, es de suma importancia en el desarrollo de la trama y ese es Maes Hughes, el mejor amigo de Roy Mustang. Aparecen muchos más personajes que si los nombro jamás termino, sin embargo, todos aportan un gran peso a la historia lo cual hace que todo sea sumamente entretenido e interesante. De verdad es un anime que recomiendo muchísimo ya que comienza de una manera muy buena y termina sin necesidad de agregarle cosas o quitarle otras, realmente lo considero el mejor shonen terminado hasta ahora.

We meet Roy Mustang (to whom I already dedicated a post), who is the first to know the state of the Elric brothers, proposing them to work as alchemists, mainly to Edward in order to find a way to obtain their bodies, as well as to make amends for his sin of having performed the human transmutation. We also meet the nice alchemist Alex Armstrong, his sister the powerful Olivier Armstrong, the fearsome Scar, the super cool Ling Yao, the tender but strong Mei Chang, the best friend of the protagonists Winry Rockbell, and a character who, although he does not appear much later, is of utmost importance in the development of the plot and that is Maes Hughes, Roy Mustang's best friend. There are many more characters that if I name them I would never finish, however, they all contribute a great weight to the story which makes everything extremely entertaining and interesting. It really is an anime that I highly recommend because it starts in a very good way and ends without the need to add or remove other things, I really consider it the best shonen finished until now.

Espero que les haya gustado este post! Fullmetal Alchemist es un anime que puedo ver varias veces sin cansarme, de hecho lo vi en una reunión con mis amigos del ensamble Multiverso y hasta nos pusimos a llorar jajaja.
