CUAN9-Tesla CEO Elon Musk again made a horrendous statement. Now the world's richest man said he was buying a football club from England, Manchester United (MU). This was revealed through a tweet on his Twitter account, Wednesday (17/8/2022). In the upload, the statement that he bought the Red Devils, nicknamed MU, is a continuation of a previous tweet that stated his political views in the United States (US). "Also, I bought Manchester United, you're welcome," he said.

Musk did not provide further clues as to whether he actually bought the club which is currently experiencing 'turbulence'. What is clear, Musk does often make controversial statements on his social media accounts. In fact, not infrequently just a joke that invites furor. Previously, Musk's name was associated with MU when he was still in the process of offering Twitter shares. A number of MU fans say that it is better for Musk to buy their favorite club by 'setting aside' a small part of his wealth. Keep in mind, the MU management is heating up. This was triggered by a series of poor results achieved by the legendary club in recent years.

Some fans also continue to urge the Glazer family as the current owner of MU to sell the football club to investors who really 'love' MU. Meanwhile, in the first two matches of the Premier League 2022-2023 season, Manchester United had to swallow two defeats, placing them temporarily in the caretaker position.
