Bear markets are for growing but whilst growing we have to monitor that we are at least doing the basics required. For instance if you have stake you need to make sure you are consistent in the claiming and restaking process. Like wise on Hive we need to use the tools we have in order to keep maintaining the growth.
Do You use the Leodex Vote Multiplier?
The Leodex vote multiplier is hands down the most undervalued tool I use on Hive to help grow the secondary tokens. I don't have an alt account set up to help balance my Hive vote so every vote has to count and the only way I can eek out extra votes is by using the Leodex vote multiplier. If you haven't used it before so yourselves all a big favor and set the process up. The secondary tokens may seem like nothing right now but who knows this could all change and then you would have thrown away the golden opportunity to have earned some more.
This is very easy to use and firstly you need to log into Leeodex. One logged in click the reward tab and open up the page. On the far right you will see a tab that looks like a lightning bolt.
This will now open up the vote multiplier and you can adjust the vote weight in each tribe.
If you are active all over Hive in multiple tribes then I suggest starting with a 3 x which will increase your tribal vote by 3 x and leave your Hive vote at whatever the vote was. So if you vote on Hive with a 10% value then the multiplier will change the vote for the tribe to 30%. This is maximizing your vote value to help curate in the tribes with what stake you already have. For instance in Leo I vote with a 20% Hive vote normally which results in a 60% vote on my Leo vote value. I would suggest checking your vote VP daily on Leodex and adjust accordingly as trying to maintain an 80% value and no less is advisable. Our vote recharges at 20% per day so try and keep within the 20% should be the rule of thumb.
I noticed today I need to adjust certain tribe votes as the multiplier voting power is still sitting on a hundred percent. I mainly curate in the evenings so this is alright for this time of day, but CTP and Leo for instance can go up another level another level as I can vote more.
Voting is the one area you have no excuse for sitting with a vote at 100% as I see that as a wasted resource and should always be recharging and not sitting. This I compare going to bed with your socks on as this is how we support everyone else around us. If you go to sleep with 90% VP you will wake up with 100% VP so why not drain it all down to the low 80% region and wake up with a 90% plus vote value. This is the basics that should be happening on daily basis as this is all part of the growth process.
