Party time!!!!!
There is a saying in India that जब भगवन देता है तो छप्पर फड़के and the most relevant meaning of it is The day God decides to give you something , it would not just rain but pour and that literally suites the Splinterlands.
Why do I say this?
Well, there is kind of double benefit one is enjoying right now from Splinterlands.
First, it was the increased card rates so much that, an account which used to be a value of US$ 1600 few months back, is now, worth US$ 50K!!!!
Second, the SPS airdrop is making us all more richer with an airdrop scheduled to run for 365 days and close to a month's airdrop for me is about US$ 1800!!!!!
So, what does this double growth means to some crazy battlers like me who keeps spending hours daily on playing the Splinterlands battles?
It means a lot to me, The rise in card value is very less although the cards value has increased in multi-folds in recent days, but, more than that, the SPS airdrop is a significant one as is a game changer in terms of providing passive income as these SPS tokens can be sold directly on hive-engine or external exchanges to buy some other Crypto or power it up by converting to Hive on hive-engine or sell it to get Fiat currency!!
OK, I went with Second option I mentioned above by selling 3000 SPS which is a part of my monthly airdropped tokens as you can see in below screenshot and went on to buy few other Cryptos I was planning to buy since long time and a part of the converted Hive is even used to power up my Hive Power.
So, 3000 SPS was worth 2236 Hive for me at today's price and 2236 Hive is worth over US$ 1000 and that means a lot.
I just brought few EPC tokens from the Epic Dice community which pays the dividend on daily basis based on the daily earnings Epic Dice gets which is like a passive income.
There is still a pending buy order from me worth 500 Hives on EPC token purchase and I hope with that, I will be a top 10 token owner for EPC :)
With the remaining Hive, I just withdrew a portion of it and powered it up to increase my Hive Power stake by a little more.
With that Hive power up, I just leveled up my stake to be a Dolphin now!!!!
It feels good to be among the selected few who are in Dolphin status and I am sue that, in the coming months a portion of my SPS token airdrop will be going to be powered up with Hive conversion and I feel it's a great opportunity to increase my stake and keep supporting genuine and worthy Hive posts as I move on with these power ups.
For the people who are with Splinterlands since day 1, these increase in card price, airdrops means a lot and it's like passive income for the next 1 year and I can proudly say these are still early days and even one can enter the Splinterlands at current state and can benefit from it's growth in the coming days.
Thanking the whole Splinterlands community and the creators of it and also the battlers with whom I have battled it out so far and I am sure I will keep growing with Splinterlands and increase my stake even more.
