Over $1 Million and $762k Worth Of Ether Respectively Realized In The Sale Of Non-Fungible Token Artworks

One of the vital factors which has contributed in boosting the potential of Ether lately is the Ethereum Blockchain's capacity to support the creation of Non-fungible token artworks. The crypto community really embraces this idea. On January 18, A well renowned celebrity artist called Justin Roiland, the co-creator of Adult Swim cartoon series Rick and Morty joined in the trend by also creating and auctioning his own NFT artwork collection. The artwork collection which was called 'The Best I Could Do' sold for a total of over $1 million in Ether at the NFT Auction House Nifty Gateway. He is the third Nifty Gateway artist to achieve this. On of the artworks was called 'The Smintons'. According to the NFT Auction house, proceeds will be going to help the Los Angeles Homeless encampments.

The CryptoPunk 2890 Collectible sold for 605 ETH approximately $808k worth in today's market. This very Cryptopunk 2890 NFT was last sold on July 2017 for 8 ETH which was worth $2,121 as at then. Only 9 of this particular NFT exists. The NFT trend is taking over the Crypto space and a lot of investors are into already meaning this trend is actually the future.
