Ukraine's Security Service has uncovered a cryptocurrency mining farm that allegedly stole electricity from the country's power grid. It was also noteworthy that thousands of PS4 Pro game consoles, rather than computer hardware, are located vertically next to each other in the cryptocurrency farm located in a warehouse right next to the Vinnytsiaoblenergo energy distribution company in Ukraine. Authorities announced that 5,000 devices, 3800 of which were PS4 Pros, were confiscated. The current value of 3800 PS4 Pros is over $1.5 million.

It is among the rumors that the warehouse, which is described as the largest cryptocurrency farm ever in Ukraine, is operated by some people living in the cities of Kiev and Vinnitsa. In addition, the use of special electricity meters to prevent the illegal power line drawn in this area from being understood, reveals that the project was designed by professionals. It is estimated that about $256,000 of electricity was spent with the aforementioned illegal power line. Authorities stated that electricity theft of this magnitude could cause bad consequences globally. In the continuation of the investigation, the Vinnytsiaoblenergo energy distribution company denied the accusations against itself, saying that there was no evidence that the equipment in the warehouse was making use of the electricity supply provided by the organization.
