Splinterlands - The third-party apps like NFTY Arcade extends the game use cases

Splinterlands play2earn game on the Hive blockchain is not isolated like other contenders in the space, but simply expands and extends its use cases through third-party apps like NFTY Arcade. The novelty added to the game is that you can now rent the formation of cards that anyone that wants to come into the game can play from the get-go. This way any new player can be competitive from the start and ensure it has a good formation to lay on the battlefield. Next is to make use of the rules of the game and chose the bravest soldiers to confront the enemies. Simple as that!

While up until now I was renting individual cards, as I have some free summoners I could leap into this new app and make some formations to rent. But in addition to just doing that, NFTY Arcade also offers extended insights to the players. And one of them is the Portfolio feature which aggregates data on Balances, Earnings and Revenue Share Stats.

While I still think that this is a work in progress and the graphs are not rendering yet (maybe there is a bug or it takes some time to do so), it surely brings more insight to the players. Here are some of the features I like the best so far.

  • Total value of your Splinterlands collections, summarizing both NFT and Crypto assets values
  • Aggregation across multiple accounts, which I think is a lifesaver
  • Graphs on multiple periods like 1 Month, 1 Year, or All the time (the last two features are marked as Premium, even if I didn't figure out how one could opt-in for such a plan)

I am sure more features will be added in time and having such a solid third-party platform developing them for the use of Splinterlands is amazing. This is another proof of how such a strong project Splinterlands is and why it will thrive in the end, navigating both bear and bull markets.

Come join the amazing world from Splinterlands!
