Greetings friends!

A journey across the stormy sea full of tragedy and hope for a happy outcome, this is how one can characterize a series of stamps Marine Paintings by I.K. Aivazovsky, issued in the USSR in 1974.

We saw the pictures of the great playwright, yes, it is not at all necessary to be a writer to become a master of drama, sometimes, oil paints, canvas and, of course, the talent of an artist are enough.

There are seven postage stamps in this series of postage stamps, but in my collection there are only six of them.

I have to find the seventh postage stamp, which depicts himself, the author of these paintings.

Today we will see the sixth postage stamp, which received a denomination of 16 kopecks in the USSR, called - Shipwreck, Ivan Aivazovsky (1876).

We see how the ship crashed against the coastal rocks, there is a lot of sadness in this. The sailors were glad that the land was already close, but they were awaited by an insidious enemy sticking out from under the water.

This, sometimes, happens in ordinary life, we pin our hopes on something, but forget about the pitfalls.

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.

For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
