Antes de preparar el pan es necesario activar la levadura para ello se toma 100 ml de leche tibia y se agrega las cucharadas de levadura disolviendo bien. Posteriormente, se agrega una cucharada de harina y otra de azúcar todo esto bien disuelto. Se espera unos diez a veinte minutos para que fermente la mezcla

Se toma un bol amplio y se coloca la harina, se crea un espacio en el centro para agregar la mantequilla previamente derretida lo que facilitara el amasado. Seguidamente, se agrega un huevo, y se inicia el primer amasado de la mezcla hasta que todo este uniforme. Pasado unos cinco minutos se procede a colocar la cuchada de sal para garantizar que no afecte el fermentado. Se añade el agua tibia para facilitar el amasado o un poco de leche tibia. Se continúa amasando de manera manual o con artefacto eléctrico hasta que la masa este suave y homogénea. Posteriormente, se coloca en recipiente y se tapa con un paño para dejar reposar por una hora o un poco más con la finalidad que la masa crezca. Recuerden colocar el recipiente en un sitio seco y fresco.

Ya pasado el tiempo de reposo se coloca la masa en una tabla de cocina para verificar el estado y realizar un amasado. Se divide con un cuchillo la masa en dos partes iguales. Posteriormente, se estira la masa con un rodillo de cocina dando forma rectangular. Se coloca las longas de jamón en la superficie de la masa, se agrega las tocinetas y se decora con pasas, aceitunas. Se puede visualizar las imágenes para realizar esta tarea. Una vez efectuada esta labor se procede a enrollar el pan y para cerrarlo se coloca un poco de agua tibia en la superficie de masa donde se unirán para garantizar que no se abra el pan en la cocción. De la misma manera, se coloca un poco de agua tibia en los extremos del pan para lograr cerrar bien la preparación. Posteriormente, se realiza un pinchado con un tenedor en la superficie del pan. Vale resaltar, que debemos preparar la bandeja del horneado con un poco de harina de trigo y mantequilla. Finalmente, dejamos reposar el pan una hora o un poco más antes de hornear para garantizar un resultado apropiado.

Para la cocción basta con hornearlo por 20 o 25 minutos. Al respecto, cuando el pan tenga unos 15 minutos de cocción se saca del horno y se barniza con una preparación de la amarilla del huevo con azúcar o papelón derretido para lograr un color adecuado en el exterior. Se vuelve a llevar al horno por el tiempo ya explicado.
