I have recently shared my experience with the latest keychain mobile application. This is a fantastic application now that it has a bunch of features that are not just user-friendly but also provide a next-level user experience on Hive. Its a must-have application for every user on hive. The key chain team has been working hard to make it superb by adding a lot of features and now this one app itself is like everything app where we can do a lot within the hive ecosystem.
Now with the @keychain app, forget about copying the key and entering it in different windows instead of just a tap or click is good enough to validate the transactions and it saves time and also provides a secure environment. Crypto is digital money hence we need to safeguard it and we should not be sharing keys anywhere. With the keychain app, we need not copy the keys as it's taken care of by the keychain application. Keychain is available on browser extensions as well as mobile applications and I use both. I feel no difference in user experience now between the extension and mobile application and I use the Android app. I am sure that the iOS app must be providing the same experience however I can't explain it as I never used an iOS app.
Keychain giveaway Contest
Keychain has started a contest and since I am a beta tester for a mobile app I thought of participating because its a great opportunity to share the experience again. The reward is fantastic as they are offering a 60K HP delegation to six people through Hive and X campaigns. The rules are simple, and anyone can follow and participate in the campaign. We need to perform a swap transaction using the mobile application or the extension and explain the entire process. One can participate through the blog and even a video can be shared which I think is a good idea because this way it can be explained better.
I hope that with this contest more people will learn about keychain applications and many people will share their submissions. It's certainly a great opportunity for us to share our thoughts and experiences about this application and what we feel about it. I am expecting more participation and this contest is open for almost three days from now when I am publishing this post.
SWAP through Keychain Mobile App
I have done the swap using browser extention and recorded the videos for the entire process. I think the video is easy to explain whatever steps I have followed and hopefully, this will help even the new users to get familiar with the entire process.
I used HBD to swap against the SPS coin. We know that HBD is the stablecoin on Hive and SPS is the governance token for the Splinterlands game and I keep on buying this token from time to time. I like the swap function a lot because I don't need to deposit the funds in the hive-engine and everything can be done within the application itself. We can use HBD or hive as per convenience and the rest of the steps are taken by the @keychain itself which we can see while processing.
