I always wanted to make a presence on this platform since I joined it. I was dreaming to have 500 SP mark (when Hive hadn't come into existence). I achieved that target after investing on Steem. When Steem hardfork gave birth to Hive, I also get Hive account and hive wallet balance by default. I increased my Hive wallet balance by investing a bit and also from author and curation rewards.

A few days ago, I had about 3800 hive power. I wanted to take it over 5000 HP mark as it is also a psychological barrier. I purchased Hive and transferred it to my Hive wallet. I was looking for an good opportunity to power up with them. So, I waited for the day (1st of the month) and powered up with it. Now I have about 5100 HP which is not so bad I think.

After powering up the value of my vote has increased. So, it is good for the authors and content creators on Hive, who will receive upvote from me. It is also good for me as I would get more curation reward and interest for staking. I hope to increased it above 10k before the end of this year.
