Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I am here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, Today, I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. This week we have a topic that is totally different from the previous ones we used to have and it goes as "your Splinterlands journey". I hope you guys are ready to read and hear my side of the story where I share my journey as a Splinterlands player on the Hive blockchain with you all. Without much ado, let's dive into the topic straight forward.

I joined Hive last year on my Birthday date and I was really surprised to realize that when I was about to write my 1 year Hive anniversary post. I started blogging on the platform right away from the very first day I created my account and there I used to explore most of the communities, especially trending communities. I used to find out that Leofinance, Splinterlands, and Pinmapple always being among the most trending communities on the Hive blockchain. Although, I used to hear about blockchain games and how people play to earn from them but then before I experienced such it was here on Hive that I had my first experience. On my journey to discovering more blockchain games on the Hive blockchain, I came across this wonderful game called the Splinterlands and I think so far this is the best web3 blockchain game I have ever had an encounter with.

When I discovered this game, I started to approach Hivers I know that play it so I can learn more from them. Some really helped me and guided me throughout the game, but before that, I would like to send a special thanks to @hurtlocker who really took his time to guide and encourage me in playing this game. Not only that, he has been very kind and supportive to me especially when I started playing Splinterlands. I say a very big thank you sir @hurtlocker. Everyone knows that it is very difficult as a new Splinterlands player, to get a Guild and join but then Hurtlocker was able to add me to his awesome and interesting guild called THE SKULL FRAGMENTS which I am proud of being a member.

From my profile page on the Splinterlands game, as shown from the above screenshot, I joined the game and started battling in February and as I write this article, I am a bronze league player but sometimes I do enter the Silver league too. I have to upgrade my cards in order to stay in the silver league for a long and I am currently working on achieving that. My highest rating in the modern format was 2,305 and that was when bots were used in the modern format, where I was able to enter the Golden League with my tinny cards. Likewise, my highest rating in the wild format is 1,883.

When it comes to my dedication to this game, I play it every day especially now that I have nothing to do as a graduate. I recently played and finished my energy and left it to charge back as you can see. I currently have 45 seasonal chests and no daily focus chests at the moment because I am yet to play today. Mostly, I schedule my night in playing the game, I make sure that I play many battles before I go to bed so that before I wake up, the energy will get filled back.

Yes, of course! I aim for the higher leagues too like the Golden, Diamond, and Champions League. I wish to be there too but I know with time and playing the game consistently I will be able to achieve that aim. Also, I have a goal for my SPS staking too, where I am looking at achieving 2.5K or more SPS staked before the year ends. As of now, I have 1.1K staked SPS which is almost half of my SPS goal. Upgrading my cards is another priority I am aiming higher for and I hope that I can level up my cards so I can comfortably play in the higher leagues as well.

To advise beginners in Splinterlands gaming, I will say that they should focus on building or upgrading their cards always. In addition, beginners should make sure to play the game always and every blessed day so as to sharpen their skills and strategy. As the saying goes, "practice makes man perfect", it is very important for a beginner to constantly play more practice games before starting the main battles.

Keep in mind that, you can not always win every battle and sometimes you can even have a lose streak of 10 or more. Just continue playing or take a break and then come back to play later. If you are capable of investing in the game, go ahead and don't hesitate because there is more chance of winning big NFTs from the game as you invest in it. These are just the little advice I can give to new players to Splinterlands Gaming at the moment, I wish you all the best and I welcome you all to this amazing and great family.

If you haven't registered yet for the game, you can sign up by purchasing your spellbook at a cost of 10$ only. Click on the link here

Thank you all for your time and attention, I am looking forward to seeing you all again in my subsequent posts.
