I drew this based on an actual cactus flower which bloomed in my apartment balcony once.
I have had so many different cactus and succulents in my life and they usually survived for a few years before they die. If we refer to this link, I have had the:
- Crassula 'Tom Thumb'
- Aloe Juvenna ‘Tiger Tooth Aloe’
- Senecio Rowleyanus ‘String Of Pearls’
- Button Cactus
- Bunny Cactus
- Ball Cactus
- Prickly Pear
- Bishop's Cap
I used to have these and they grew quite big, about 10cm in diameter, my best achievement. The tall guy was about 15cm in height.
This is my only surviving succulent and cacti but they are not doing well :(
In my travels, I love taking photos of succulents and cacti.
This was when I was in Greece, in one of the beautiful islands, wishing my cacti would grow happy and healthy like this.
Bunny Cactus
When I went to one of the famous markets (I think it is the Queen Victoria Market) in Melbourne, there was a stall that sold succulents and cacti! Look at how cute, healthy and happy they are!
Aaaahhhh....
Soooo adorable...
I was very tempted to buy them home but I did not think they will pass the immigration.
Looking at these photos now makes me smile just looking at the succulents and cacti.
I hope to be able to find the right formula to keep succulents and cacti, more or less sun, just enough water?
Dearest @gertu, my master of plants, may I ask, what is the secret?
When I had these cuties (before they died),
I made an origami flower to hang out with them.
