Hola Hivers, hace algún tiempo que no publico en está comunidad lo cual es raro porque soy muy amante del cine y la television, aquí vengo de nuevo con otra iniciativa que tiene que ver con el mundo de las series y películas pero esta vez no me voy a enfocar en las producciones co no tal sino en los actores y actrices que dan vida a esos personajes que tanto amamos u odiamos.
La iniciativa esta vez es "Actores que me han impresionado con su actuación", esto incluye el realismo y la naturalidad con la que han conseguido actuar en papeles fuertes, lo comprometidos, la versatilidad que tengan para los personajes, que hayan estado con los mismos o lo mucho que nos hayan convencido con su actuación. Puede ser un top, o hablar solo de 1 actor/actriz a la vez o como quieran, y dar ejemplos de estos papeles increíbles.
¡Empecemos!
Este actor comenzó sus días en pantalla desde que era un niño, desde muy joven mostró un gran talento para este mundo. Cuando yo conocí de su existencia fue en la película de Charlie y la Fábrica de Chocolate, el era el protagonista (el pequeño Charlie) de bajos recursos que gana un boleto dorado por pura suerte y visita la mágica fábrica de dulces con su abuelo donde juntos conocen al excéntrico Willie Wonka interpretado por Johnny Depp (otro actor excepcional).
Sin embargo, su actuación no me impresiono debido a este papel sino al que haría años después siendo ya un adulto joven y que le daría a más de una persona sus pesadillas de noche y otro papel que me dejaría increiblemente encariñada y fascinada.
Freddie interpretó el papel de un joven Norman Bates (Psicosis por Alfred Hitchcock) en una serie precuela de la historia original. En esta se narra la juventud del psicópata que todos los amantes del terror psicológico conocemos y como llegó a detonarse ese monstruo que idolatra a su madre a un punto totalmente bizarro.
La actuación de Highmore en esta serie fue simplemente impresionante, muestra perfectamente el deterioro de su mente a medida que avanza la historia y logra convencernos tan bien de su psicopatía que es difícil separar su persona normal del papel de Norman (mi mamá decía que ahora lo veía en otros proyectos pero le seguía dando miedo su expresión). Me encantó el poder de convencimiento que logró con este personaje.

Ahora, Highmore actualmente esta en otro personaje llamado Shawn Murphy en una serie muy buena llamada The Good Doctor, donde actúa como un médico cirujano genio pero con una condición: es autista y también posee el Síndrome de Savant. La serie nos muestra su día a día adaptándose a un entorno laboral completamente desconocido para el, debe aprender a interactuar y socializar a la vez que busca de ser comprendido y tratado de manera normal y cada día crece como médico.
Ahora bien, este papel sin duda me impresionó aún más que con Bates Motel, porque el actuar como una persona con autismo y hacerlo de manera convincente y realista debe ser increíblemente difícil pero Freddie logra hacerlo de manera impecable, en verdad consigue ganarse nuestra simpatía y cariño con este personaje.
De ser un psicópata con complejo de Edipo a ser un chico inocente con autismo es sin duda una maniobra excepcional, ambos papeles y temas están en extremos opuestos del espectro pero Freddie Highmore consiguió pasar de uno a otro como si tuviera un interruptor para actuar.
Puedo mirar un episodio de Bates Motel y odiar a su personaje de Norman Bates e incluso tenerle miedo, y al siguiente momento ver un episodio de The Good Doctor y tenerle mucha ternura y admiración por el papel de Shawn Murphy. Debido a esta habilidad para saltar entre papeles opuestos de manera tan increíble y realista es que Freddie Highmore es el actor que más me ha impresionado con su actuación.

Hi Hivers, it's been a while since I've posted in this community which is strange because I am very fond of movies and television, here I come again with another initiative that has to do with the world of series and movies but this time I will not focus on the productions co no such but on the actors and actresses who give life to those characters that we love or hate so much.
The initiative this time is "Actors that impressed me with their acting", this includes the realism and naturalness with which they have managed to act in strong roles, how versatil they are for different roles, how committed they have been with them or how much they have convinced us with their performance. It can be a top, or talk about only 1 actor/actress at a time or however you want, and give examples of these amazing roles.
Let's get started!
This actor began his days on screen since he was a child, from a very young age he showed a great talent for this world. When I knew of his existence was in the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, he was the protagonist (little Charlie) of low income who wins a golden ticket by pure luck and visits the magical candy factory with his grandfather where together they meet the eccentric Willie Wonka played by Johnny Depp (another exceptional actor).
However, his performance did not impress me because of this role but the one he would play years later as a young adult that would give more than one person their nightmares at night and another role that would leave me incredibly fond and fascinated.
Freddie played the role of a young Norman Bates (Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock) in a prequel series to the original story. This one narrates the youth of the psychopath that all psychological horror lovers know and how this monster who idolizes his mother came to detonate to a totally bizarre point.
Highmore's performance in this series was simply stunning, he perfectly shows the deterioration of his mind as the story progresses and manages to convince us so well of his psychopathy that it's hard to separate his normal persona from the role of Norman (my mom said she now saw him in other projects but was still scared of his expression). I loved the convincing power he achieved with this character.

Now, Highmore is currently in another character named Shawn Murphy in a very good series called The Good Doctor, where he acts as a genius surgeon doctor but with a condition: he is autistic and also has Savant Syndrome. The series shows us his day to day adapting to a completely unknown work environment for him, he must learn to interact and socialize while seeking to be understood and treated normally and every day he grows as a doctor.
Now, this role certainly impressed me even more than with Bates Motel, because acting as a person with autism and doing it convincingly and realistically must be incredibly difficult but Freddie manages to do it flawlessly, he really manages to win our sympathy and affection with this character.
From being a psychopath with an Oedipus complex to being an innocent boy with autism is certainly an exceptional maneuver, both roles and themes are at opposite ends of the spectrum but Freddie Highmore managed to go from one to the other as if he had a switch to act.
I can watch an episode of Bates Motel and hate his Norman Bates character and even be afraid of him, and the next moment watch an episode of The Good Doctor and have great tenderness and admiration for the role of Shawn Murphy. It is because of this ability to jump between opposite roles in such an incredible and realistic way that Freddie Highmore is the actor who has impressed me the most with his performance.
