From book to screen.Isaac Asimov "Foundation".Del libro a la pantalla.Isaac Asimov "Fundación"[ENG-ESP]

Greetings to the Movies & TV Show community. 🫀I just finished the second season of this installment and these are my feelings towards it. I consider Foundation to be a visually stunning journey, but with narrative ups and downs. 🚀

Apple TV+'s adaptation of the novel written by Isaac Asimov is undoubtedly a visual spectacle. The vast space panoramas, futuristic cities and special effects are breathtaking and immerse you in Asimov's universe. ✨ Of its cast, I personally love the work of @LeePace playing Brother Day and @CodyFern playing Toran Mallow.
However, the series does take creative liberties with the source material, which may disappoint purist fans, but that's always if you want to stay true to the books and, of course, if you've never read them it won't bother you. The plot, while intriguing, sometimes feels slow and some of the secondary characters could be more developed, especially I would like to see a bit more about Demerzel, played by Laura Birn. 🤔

I love its visuals and production design, in my opinion impeccable. Add to this solid performances from the cast, especially Jared Harris as Hari Seldon, and it introduces interesting philosophical and political concepts, and this can only trigger hours of entertainment and reflection. Now on to this topic... Situating ourselves in the series, do you think any one person can define the story? Or are you more inclined like me to the idea that a single being does not carry the weight of the future?

Overall, "Foundation" is an ambitious series that, while not perfect, offers a visually stunning experience and raises relevant questions about the fate of humanity with its Psychohistory. A recommendable proposal for science fiction lovers, although with an open mind to a free interpretation of Asimov's work.

Saludos a la comunidad de Movies & TV Show. 🫀Recién terminó la segunda temporada de esta entrega y estas son mis sensaciones hacia ella. Considero que Fundación es un viaje visualmente impactante, pero con altibajos narrativos. 🚀

La adaptación de Apple TV+ de la novela escrita por Isaac Asimov es indudablemente un espectáculo visual. Las vastas panorámicas espaciales, las ciudades futuristas y los efectos especiales son impresionantes y te sumergen en el universo de Asimov. ✨ De su reparto, me encanta en lo personal el trabajo de @LeePace interpretando al hermano Día y @CodyFern interpretando a Toran Mallow.

Sin embargo, la serie se toma libertades creativas con respecto al material original, lo que puede decepcionar a los fanáticos más puristas, pero esto es siempre si te quieres mantener fiel a los libros y, claro, si nunca los has leído no te molestará. La trama, aunque intrigante, a veces se siente lenta y algunos personajes secundarios podrían estar más desarrollados, sobre todo me gustaría ver un poco más sobre Demerzel, interpretada por Laura Birn. 🤔

Me encanta su apartado visual y diseño de producción, en mi opinión impecables. Si a esto le sumas unas actuaciones sólidas del elenco, especialmente Jared Harris como Hari Seldon, y que introduce conceptos filosóficos y políticos interesantes, esto solo puede desencadenar en horas de entretenimiento y reflexión. Ahora sobre este tema... Situándonos en la serie, ¿crees que una sola persona pueda definir la historia? O te decantas más como yo por la idea de que en un solo ser no está el peso del futuro.

En general, "Foundation" es una serie ambiciosa que, si bien no es perfecta, ofrece una experiencia visualmente impactante y plantea cuestiones relevantes sobre el destino de la humanidad con su Psicohistoria. Una propuesta recomendable para los amantes de la ciencia ficción, aunque con la mente abierta a una interpretación libre de la obra de Asimov.
