I would like to comment for tonight about a series I have been watching a couple of days ago, which caught my attention since it is based on one of the video games I played the most during my adolescence and, later, I had the honor of finding again on the nintendo DS console. When I saw it on Netflix, it immediately caught my attention, and I did not hesitate, of course, to play it and watch all its seasons.
Castlevania, is a series for the Netflix platform based on the famous KONAMI video game, specifically version 3: "Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse". The series was created by Sam Deats and written by Warren Ellis, a well-known scriptwriter of comics and series who puts his touch of satire and black humor to give more particularity to this animated saga.
The series only has three seasons, launched on July 7, 2017 its first season, which only had 4 chapters, subsequently it was renewed with a second season that had 8 chapters that premiered in August 2018. Two years after the first and second seasons were released, the series was revived with a third season, which has 10 episodes to be released in 2020.

Quisiera comentar para esta noche sobre una serie que he estado viendo hace un par de días, la cual me llamó la atención ya que está basada en uno de los videojuegos que más jugaba durante mi adolescencia y, posteriormente, tuve el honor de volver a encontrar en la consola nintendo DS. Cuando la vi por Netflix, inmediatamente me llamó la atención, y no dudé, por supuesto, en reproducirla y verme todas sus temporadas.
Castlevania, es una serie para la plataforma Netflix basada en el afamado videojuego de KONAMI, específicamente en la versión 3: «Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse». La serie fue creada por Sam Deats y escrita por Warren Ellis, un conocido guionista de comics y series que coloca su toque de sátira y humor negro para darle más particularidad a esta saga animada.
La serie solo cuenta con tres temporadas, lanzada el 7 de julio del 2017 su primera temporada, la cual solo contaba de 4 capítulos, subsiguientemente fue renovada con una segunda temporada que contaba con 8 capítulos que se estrenaron en agosto del 2018. Luego de dos años de estrenarse la primera y segunda temporada, la serie fue reavivada con una tercera temporada, la cual cuenta de 10 capítulos lanzados en el año 2020.
The story begins with Lisa Tepes, a young girl who leaves her home and arrives at Dracula's castle, where she humbly asks him to share his knowledge to become a doctor. Lisa, seeing in Dracula an ingenious man, urges him to get to know the world in order to reconnect with humanity. Eventually they fall in love and marry, but things change when Lisa is burned at the stake as a witch, unleashing Dracula's wrath against the people of Wallachia.
As the series progresses, we will get to know the main characters, the most fundamental of all in Trevor Belmont, the last descendant of his almost extinct family, who were dedicated to hunting monsters. Next to Trevor, there will be the young Sypha Belnades, a sorceress belonging to a group called "The Speakers", who dedicated themselves with comfort to give peace to people threatened by Dracula's army, where the church only instills fear. And then we have Adrian Alucard Tepes, son of Dracula and Lisa Tepes, who tried to stop his father from the terrible mistake of committing a massive genocide, so in turn, tried to convince him to go alone for the person responsible for the death of his mother, but fails and, because of this, Dracula attacks him. Now, a year after Lisa's death, Trevor, Sypha and Alucard come together to stop the lord of vampires and prevent the destruction of all mankind.
La historia comienza con Lisa Tepes, una joven que abandona su hogar hasta llegar al castillo de Drácula, donde humildemente le pide compartir sus conocimientos para convertirse en doctora, Drácula, al ver la valentía y entusiasmo de la muchacha, le enseña todos sus conocimientos científicos. Lisa, al ver en Drácula un hombre ingenioso, le incita a conocer el mundo para conectarse de nuevo con la humanidad. Con el tiempo se enamoran y contraen matrimonio, pero las cosas cambian cuando Lisa es quemada en la hoguera por bruja, desatando así mismo la ira de Drácula contra las personas del pueblo de Wallachia.
Durante el avance de la serie, iremos conociendo a los personajes principales, el más fundamental de todos en Trevor Belmont, último descendiente de su casi extinguida familia, quienes se dedicaban a la caza de monstruos. Junto a Trevor, estará la joven Sypha Belnades, una hechicera perteneciente a un grupo llamado «Los oradores», quienes se dedicaban con consuelo a darles paz a las personas amenazadas por el ejército de Drácula, donde la iglesia solo infunde miedo. Y luego tenemos a Adrian Alucard Tepes, hijo de Drácula y Lisa Tepes, quien intentó detener a su padre del terrible error de cometer un genocidio masivo, por lo que a su vez, intentó convencerlo de ir solo por la persona responsable de la muerte de su madre, pero no lo logra y, a causa de esto, Drácula lo ataca. Ahora, un año después de la muerte de Lisa, Trevor, Sypha y Alucard, se junta para detener al señor de los vampiros y evitar la destrucción de toda la humanidad.

For all those fans of this video game or animated series of fantasy or science fiction, there will be a delight with an interesting saga, since we will not only enjoy the satirical humor of Warren Ellis and his exquisite script where he makes incisive criticisms to society in a rough and ordinary language, but also, we will enjoy the experiences of the main heroes and their adventures trying to stop not only the cruelty of Dracula and his vassals, but also those who try to forge new kingdoms from the scattered ashes of a world in chaos.
La serie está ambientada en el año 1475, que también podríamos llamar «La Temprana Edad Media», donde encontraremos una Iglesia Apostólica y Romana dominante, leyendas sobre monstruos y criaturas emergentes del infierno y sectas de salvación dentro de pueblos aledaños, amenazados por demonios y vampiros pertenecientes al ejercito de Drácula.
Para todos aquellos fanáticos de este videojuego o series animadas de fantasía o ciencia ficción, habrá un deleite con una interesante saga, ya que no solo disfrutaremos del humor satírico de Warren Ellis y su exquisito guión donde hace críticas incisivas a la sociedad en un lenguaje rudo y ordinario, sino que también, gozaremos de las vivencias de los héroes principales y sus aventuras intentando detener no solo la crueldad de Drácula y sus vasallos, sino de aquellos que intentan forjar nuevos reinados a partir de las cenizas esparcidas de un mundo en caos.
