When I watch movies, I always write the insights in my agenda. One of my favorite films is "A Star is Born," starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
Bradley, in his portrayal of Jack, gives the best description I have ever heard about what it means to sing.
With those words, I started this blog with the idea of highlighting that phrase that I liked so much from this movie and entry to the community.
Summary:
Lady Gaga delivers a wonderful portrayal of the story of a girl named Ally who, amidst her fears and disappointments, thanks to Jack, played by Bradley Cooper, manages to bring out all the talent, passion, and love for music that dwelled within her and give it to the whole world.

Regarding talent, Jack said the following: "Talent comes from everywhere, but having something to say and a way to say it so that people listen is something else; unless you go out and try to do it, you'll never know. That's the truth. And there's a reason we're supposed to be here, it's to say something for the people who want to hear it. So you gotta grab it, and don't apologize for it, and don't worry about who's listening, or how long they're gonna be listening, you just tell them what you want to say..."
Teachings
1- There are people who positively contribute to your life once or several times, but this does not mean it will always be so... and that's because everything is relative; people change and the scenario also changes, that is one of the powers that time exerts in our lives.
2- Learning to surround yourself with the right people is key because they influence and determine where and how we are headed.
3- Success is 50% how quickly you materialize an idea.
4- Staying anonymous is good because you don't expose yourself or have to deal with the outside world, but you are left with that feeling inside, that voice that tells you that you could have done it.
5- Accept who you are physically, and if you don't like what you see, change it.
6- A person has the power to change the path of your life in just one day, it applies to you too.

Love
Ally shows herself as a woman of strong and deep feelings. She demonstrates this in her love for Jack, who was an alcoholic. She supported him throughout his detox process even when it almost ruined her artistic career. For her, Jack was more than the man she was in love with; he was her support, inspiration, the person who helped her to deeply self-discover and to love herself with her virtues/flaws, he was the soul that illuminated her when she felt in the darkness, he helped her accept that Ally that she had devoted so much time to hiding and showed her the power behind having a story to sincerely tell through lyrics and melodies.
Jack showed a strong attraction to Ally from minute #1. Just by seeing her sing on that stage, he knew she was the woman he wanted. He wrote the song "I'll Never Love Again" for her, which she sang with tears during the tribute to him after his death was announced.
Friends
Ally surrounds herself with a close circle of friends, and in fact, Jack meets her because her best friend realizes that the famous country singer Jack is in the bar where Ally usually sings, and invites him to stay so he can hear her sing... and so their story began. This action leads to the conclusion: You don't need 50 friends if you have one whose eyes light up when they see you, celebrates your successes, and supports you throughout the process.
Jack had many friends who were only in his life because of his status, but he shows a special one whom he always called at the peak of consciousness during his drunkenness and at his house, he proposes to Ally.
Family
Ally only had her father, who was a chauffeur for celebrities and had a great frustration because he couldn't succeed in music. He claimed he sang better than Frank Sinatra, hahaha. The truth is that he always managed to transmit this frustration to his daughter, believing that in this way, he was supporting and motivating her not to give up on music. Even so, he felt very proud to see his daughter succeed and do what he could never do; for him, that was enough.
Jack only had his brother, who was with him throughout his life, acting as his manager throughout his artistic career. A complex relationship with differences, hidden thoughts, and conflicting feelings... but the truth is that he unconditionally cared for and loved Jack until the day he resigned from representing him.
Money
The film focuses primarily on interpersonal relationships, and it presents money only as what it really is, a means. It shows that even when you achieve fame, it doesn't have to change your true nature, and how wealth only magnifies what exists in your soul. It also demonstrates how the more value you add through your actions, the more rewards you receive.

Doce notas y la octava se repite. Es la misma historia contada una y otra vez, para siempre. Todo lo que cualquier artista puede ofrecer al mundo es cómo ven esas doce notas...
Cuando veo películas siempre escribo las enseñanzas en mi agenda. Una de mis películas favoritas es: Una estrella que nace protagonizada por Lady Gaga y Bradley Cooper.
Bradley en su personaje de Jack hace la mejor descripción que jamás he escuchado sobre lo que significa cantar.
Con esas palabras inicié este Blog con la idea de resaltar esa frase que tanto me gustó de esta película y de darme entrada en la comunidad.
Resumen
Lady Gaga hace una personificación maravillosa sobre la historia de un chica llamada Ally que entre sus miedos y decepciones logra, Gracias a Jack, interpretado por Bradley Cooper, sacar todo el talento, la pasión y el amor por la música que habitaba en ella y regalarlo al mundo entero.
Cita
Sobre el talento Jack dijo lo siguiente: el talento viene de todas partes, pero tener algo que decir y una manera de decirlo para que la gente lo escuche, es otra cosa; a menos que salgas y trates de hacerlo, nunca lo sabrás. Esa es la verdad. Y hay una razón por la que se supone que debemos estar aquí, es para decir algo para la gente que quiera escuchar. Así que tienes que agarrarlo, y no te disculpes, y no te preocupes por los que escuchan, o por cuánto tiempo van a estar escuchando, simplemente les dices lo que quieres decir...
Enseñanzas
1- Existen personas que aportan positivamente a tu vida una o varias veces pero esto no significa que siempre será así... y es que todo es relativo, las personas cambian y el escenario también cambia, ese es uno de los poderes que ejerce del tiempo en nuestras vidas.
2- Aprender a rodearse de las personas correctas es clave, ya que, estas influyen y determinan hacia dónde y cómo nos dirigimos.
3- El éxito está en la rapidez con la que materializas una idea.
4- Mantenerse en el anonimato es bueno porque no te expones ni tienes que lidiar con el mundo exterior, pero te quedas con ese sentimiento en tu interior, esa voz que te dice que pudiste haberlo hecho.
5- Acepta quién eres físicamente, y si no te gusta lo que ves, cámbialo.
6- Una persona tiene el poder de cambiar el rumbo de tu vida en tan solo un día, aplica para ti también.

Amor
Ally se muestra como una mujer de fuertes y profundos sentimientos, lo demuestra en su amor por Jack, quien era alcohólico, ella lo apoyó durante todo su proceso de desintoxicación aún y cuando casi arruina su carrera artística. Para ella Jack era más que el hombre del que estaba enamorada, el era su soporte, apoyo, inspiración, la persona que la ayudó a autodescubrirse profundamente y a quererse con sus virtudes/defectos, era el alma que la iluminaba cuando se sentía en la oscuridad, el la ayudó a aceptar a esa Ally que durante tanto tiempo se dedicó a ocultar y le mostró el poder detrás de tener una historia para contar sinceramente a través de las letras y las melodías.
Jack mostró una fuerte atracción desde el minuto #1 por Ally. Sólo de verla cantar sobre aquella barra supo que esa era la mujer que quería, para ella compuso la canción: I'll never love again la cual ella cantó entre lágrima en el homenaje a el luego de ser anunciada su muerte.
Amigos
Ally se muestra con un círculo cerrado de amigos, de hecho Jack la conoce gracias a que el mejor amigo de ella cuando se da cuenta de que Jack el cantante famoso de Country estaba en el bar donde Ally usualmente cantaba, lo invita a quedarse para que la escuchara... y así comenzó la historia de ellos. Cuya acción hace que concluya lo siguiente: No necesitas 50 amigos si tienes uno que al verte los ojos le brillan, celebra tus éxitos y te apoya durante el proceso.
Jack tenía muchos amigos que solo estaban en su vida por su posición pero si muestran a uno en especial a quien siempre llamaba en los ápices de conciencia de sus borracheras, en la casa de este le pide matrimonio a Ally.
Familia
Ally solo tenía a su padre, quien era chófer de celebridades y tenía una gran frustración, ya que, no pudo triunfar en la música. Este afirmaba que cantaba mejor que Frank Sinatra jajaja.
Lo cierto es que esta frustración siempre se encargaba de transmitirla a su hija creyendo que de esa forma la estaba apoyando y motivando a que no abandonara la música. Aún así el se sintió muy orgulloso al ver a su hija triunfar y hacer lo que el nunca pudo hacer, con eso para el era suficiente.
Jack tenía solamente a su hermano, quién estuvo con él toda su vida, fue su representante durante toda su carrera artística. Una relación compleja con diferencias, pensamientos ocultos y sentimientos encontrados... pero lo cierto es que este incondicionalmente cuidó y amó a Jack hasta el día que renunció a seguir representándolo.
Dinero
La película se enfoca fundamentalmente en las relaciones interpersonales, el dinero lo presentan solo como lo que en realidad es, un vehículo. Muestran como aún y cuando se llega a la fama no tiene que cambiar tu real naturaleza, como la riqueza sólo magnifica lo que existe en tu alma y muestra como mientras más valor aportas haciendo lo haces, recibes más recompensas.
