Tom and Jerry, yes the usual Tom and Jerry we know. The quarrelsome, noisy energies of the years that we watch for some reason enjoying them. Do we love to fight? Or do we enjoy watching them because we are bored with the mediocrity. Say what?

I think cartoons have certain expansions and we involuntarily keep those messages as little notes deep in our brains. I see a lot of children fighting for no reason and their curiosity about things that are dangerous for them. They fight a lot with their peers and want to show that you don't get hurt by doing the most dangerous things. So they test life through the adventures of tom and jerry.
What about us! Now that we have grown up, with what eyes do we look at Tom and Jerry? They were our childhood, and we love to own whatever feeds our child parts (even a fight). We are even proud. That's why, maybe we, the adults, reflect the empty learnings to life, to the point of starting a fight over small things...

Çocuklarda çok görürüm nedensiz kavga edişleri ve kendisi için tehlikeli olan şeylere merakı. Yaşıtlarıyla çok kavga ederler ve en tehlikeli şeyleri yaparak canının yanmadığını göstermek isterler. Even though this movie takes me to the past, now I demand something new from this cartoon series. End the fight now. Let these two do something real now. Let them spend their energies serving a cause, not fighting. It would be more meaningful to me this way.
Indeed, it did. The friendship that we have been wanting for years has been revealed. It took years to see that, but it happened. We may have to see some more fights to reach the excitement of the togetherness, but at the end of the movie, we will have the anticipation of years.
This is my expectation though. I know that many people dream of different endings. It's like when one wins or both ends. We will always be partners in their stories. Regardless, we have them etched into our memory.
Bu film beni Maziye götürse de artık yeni bir şeyler talep ediyorum bu çizgi serisinden. Artık kavga bitsin. Bu ikili artık gerçek bir şeyler yapsın. Enerjilerini dövüşerek değil, bir amaca hizmet ederek harcasınlar. Bu şekliyle daha anlamlı olacaktı benim için.
Nitekim oldu da. Yıllardır içten içe istediğimiz o dostluk açığa çıktı. Bunu görmek için yıllar geçmesi gerekti ama oldu. Birlikteliğin heyecanına varmak için biraz daha kavga görmemiz gerekecek belki ama filmin sonunda yılların beklentisine kavuşacağız.
Gerçi bu benim beklentim. Biliyorum ki birçok kişi farklı sonlar hayal ediyordur. Birinin galip gelmesi ya da ikisinin de sonunun gelmesi gibi... Onların hikayelerine her zaman ortak olacağız. Ne olursa olsun onları hafızamıza kazıdık.
