Cosmos: War Of The Planets is part of a group of five low-cost films made by Alfonso Brescia between 1977 and 1978 and used almost entirely the same sets and the same cast. In Europe film was named Year Zero - War in Space.
It's a classic sci-fi movie, the beginner of the spaghetti sci-fi genre.

Plot:
It's a sci-fi story, happening in the distant future. An earth spaceship landed on an unknown planet after receiving mysterious radio signals.
The planet looks empty, but the crew soon discovers the remains of the ancient city. The expedition discovers the last surviving people who once inhabited the planet and they are oppressed by an evil entity that haunts the world. It's a big machine, a kind of perfect robot. He is responsible for the mysterious messages collected on Earth, which they use as a trick to lure visitors from other planets into the trap and enslave them.
