Vidas de papel narrates the abandonment of a child by his mother, an abandonment that gives way to endless drama in this film. From the beginning I felt like I was caught up in this movie.
Ali that abandoned child, which product of the abuse of his stepfather, his mother decides to abandon him in a cart to collect recycled garbage, in this way Ali comes to the life of Mehmet, a man who is surrounded by papers, that's where The name of the film comes out, Mehmet, he was the leader of a group of young people, who got to know each other for having something in common, they all had no parents, they were abandoned children, street children, with drug problems, in addition to others.

Mehmet suffers from kidney disease, which deprives him of fully enjoying his work, even with all the health problems, he faces his problems. In addition to this, he is in charge of the boy Ali, a boy who appears one day in his shed, which served to receive all the recycled papers, which they went out to collect daily.

The film lives on paper, is focused on Mehmet's unconditional love for Ali, leaving illness aside, Mehmet is dedicated to fulfilling Ali's dreams, taking him to those places that every child wants to visit, having new experiences, and above all to feel like a loved child. While the film was going on, my question was, where is Ali's mother, I could not understand how a mother preferred to abandon her son instead of abandoning her partner, who was an abuser.

The end of the lives of Papel arrived and she could not believe what she was looking at, the life of Ali, that abandoned child, was nothing more than the memory that tormented mehmet, Ali and Mehmet were the same people. I confess that I am very sentimental, and this outcome drew a lot of tears from my eyes.

And it is that knowing that in reality there are many Ali, in the street, rummaging through the garbage to find something to eat, I have had the opportunity to see many children on the street, abandoned by their family, given over to drugs. Just as there are mothers who would give their lives for their children, there are also denatured mothers, who have no idea of the psychological damage they can cause their children, leading them not only to abandonment in the streets, handing them over to criminals, who these children are often abused.

Undoubtedly from my perceptive Life of Paper brings a message, a message of Love, towards those street children, and it is that without a doubt Can Ulkay achieves its attack, it awakens the deep feeling towards this young people and children, which many They are the product of abandonment.
