I've been reading many reviews to different movies and tv shows in this community and I wanted to create an entry too, although I didn't know which movie or tv show should be my first, then it was pretty obvious, why don't I start with my all time favorite tv show? one that's more than 20 years old but still has a strong influence in many movies and tv shows.
He estado leyendo varias reseñas de diferentes películas y programas en esta comunidad y quería crear una entrada también, aunque no sabía cual película o programa debería ser mi primero, luego fue muy obvio, ¿por qué no comenzar con mi programa favorito de todos los tiempos? uno que tiene más de 20 años pero aun tiene fuerte influencia en varias películas y series.
I'll start with the movie... it's... bad, but if you're a fan is enjoyable although it's very, very different from what the show later became, but thanks to this it all started.
Joss Whedon wrote this movie, yes the one behind the Avengers and first version of Justice League, ignoring all the things that are said now about his abusive behavior behind scenes, he created one of the most powerful female influences in modern tv. The idea he had in the beginning was about changing the roles, he wanted to break the stereotype about the blond dumb girl that died easily because she couldn't fight back, the main idea behind Buffy was "Let's make the blonde girl be the dangerous one slaying monsters."
The 1992's movie features Kristy Swanson, Luke Perry and Donald Sutherland as the main good guys, David Arquette and Rutger Hauer as Lothos, the master vampire... and you'll find very young Ben Affleck and Hilary Swank in secondary small roles.
Empezaré con la película... es... mala, pero si eres un fan es disfrutable aunque es muy, muy diferente a lo que la serie se convirtió después, pero gracias a esta todo comenzó.
Joss Whedon escribió esta película, si, el mismo detrás de Los Vengadores y la primera versión de La Liga de la Justicia, ignorando todas las cosas que se dicen ahora sobre su comportamiento abusivo detrás de escenas, creó una de las influencias femeninas más poderosas en la tv moderna. La idea que tenía al principio era cambiar los roles, quería romper el estereotipo de la tonta chica rubia que moría fácilmente porque no podía pelear para defenderse, la idea principal tras Buffy era "Hagamos que la chica rubia sea la peligrosa que caza monstruos."
La película de 1992 es estelarizada por Kristy Swanson, Luke Perry y Donald Sutherland como los chicos buenos, David Arquette y Rutger Hauer como Lothos, el Vampiro maestro... y encontrarán a unos muy jóvenes Ben Affleck y Hilary Swank en roles secundarios pequeños.

The story is very simple, Buffy is a Slayer and she has to stop vampires, to do so she's helped by a Watcher, in the movie Merrick is her guide, both had been the Slayer and the Watcher in previous lives, and every time they try to stop Lothos he kills them, and in every new life, the Watcher has to find the Slayer to train her.
La historia es muy simple, Buffy es una Cazadora y tiene que detener a los vampiros, para hacerlo es ayudada por un Vigilante, en la película Merrick es su guía, ambos han sido la Cazadora y el Vigilante en vidas pasadas, y cada vez que tratan de detener a Lothos los mata, y en cada nueva vida el Vigilante debe encontrar a la Cazadora para entrenarla.
SourceBuffy doesn't want her life to change, she's the typical popular girl in high school, her priorities are clothes and dating, suddenly she's told she's the chosen one, a girl with enhanced strength, a Slayer. At first she denies her destiny but when vampires attack students she knows from school she decides to accept her duty trying to balance her normal life with the new one but her friends and boyfriend notice she's changing and she realizes she doesn't count on them when she tries to tell them the truth, they simply ignore her and turn their backs on her.
She meets Pike (Luke Perry) after saving him from a vampire attack and he decides to help her after finding out his best friend Benny (David Arquette) was turned into a vampire.
SourceLothos knows that the Slayer is around and when he finds out who she is goes after her but Merrick sacrifices himself to save Buffy, this hits her pretty hard, she wants to quit slaying, Pike wants her to continue for Merrick but she doesn't want to, she wants to go back to her life and goes to the school dance... yeah they still do a school dance in spite of several students missing or found dead later.
Lothos wants to kill her, it's what he does, he's killed the Slayer over and over again for centuries. He and his vampire minions attack the school dance, many of the minions were students, it's a massacre, Buffy fights and manages to slay Lothos thanks to Pike's help watching her back, and as any cheesy 90's movie it ends with Buffy and Pike leaving together with the sunrise ahead of them.
Buffy no quiere que su vida cambie, es la típica chica popular en preparatoria, sus prioridades son la ropa y citas, de pronto le dicen que es la elegida, una chica con fuerza incrementada, una Cazadora. Al inicio niega su destino pero cuando los vampiros atacan estudiantes que conoce de la escuela decide aceptar su deber tratando de balancear su vida normal con la nueva, pero sus amigos y novio notan que está cambiando y ella se da cuenta que no cuenta con ellos cuando trata de decirles la verdad, ellos simplemente la ignoran y le dan la espalda.
Conoce a Pike (Luke Perry) luego de salvarlo de un ataque de vampiros y el decide ayudarla luego de averiguar que su mejor amigo Benny (David Arquette) fue convertido en vampiro.
Lothos sabe que la Cazadora está rondando y cuando averigua quien es va tras ella pero Merrick se sacrifica para salvar a Buffy, esto le afecta mucho, quiere renunciar a la cacería, Pike quiere que continúe por Merrick pero ella no quiere, quiere regresar a su vida y va al baile escolar... si, aun hacen un baile a pesar de que varios estudiantes están desaparecidos o son encontrados muertos después.
Lothos quiere matarla, es lo que hace, ha matado a la Cazadora una y otra vez por siglos. El y sus secuaces vampiros atacan el baile, muchos de los secuaces eran estudiantes, es una masacre, Buffy pelea y se las arregla para cazar a Lothos gracias a la ayuda de Pike quien cuida su espalda, y como cualquier otra película cursi de los 90 termina con Buffy y Pike yéndose juntos con el amanecer frente a ellos.
The story isn't bad at all, it's the execution what's a mess, Joss wanted to mix comedy with a supernatural drama, but the executive producers changed it to be a summer flix filled with senseless jokes.
Thankfully Joss didn't drop the idea, he still wanted his real version of Buffy to be released, he presented the pilot to different networks but they all said no just because the name wasn't appealing, they got a point there, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" sounds like meh... But finally the pilot was accepted and Buffy the series was born, yay!
Por suerte Joss no abandonó la idea, aun quería su versión real de Buffy fuera lanzada, presentó el piloto a diferentes cadenas pero todos dijeron no solo porque el nombre no era atractivo, tenían un buen punto, "Buffy la Cazavampiros" suena tan meh... Pero finalmente el piloto fue aceptado y Buffy la serie nació, ¡ujuu!
Now let's begin with the tv show...
Comencemos con la serie
"Into every generation a slayer is born: one girl in all the world, a chosen one. She alone will stand against the vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness; to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their number. She is the Slayer."
That's the opening line in the first season, and basically the whole description of what a Slayer is.
The series starts where the movie ended... sort of... an Origin comic was released, it shows the same story from the movie but more loyal to Joss's vision, it's darker but with it's hints of humor. Lothos is meaner, Buffy isn't as naive as in the movie, Merrick is way better, in the movie he looks all the time as if he doesn't know what he's doing there, it shows that the actor wasn't pleased with that rol.
The difference between the movie and the comic is that in the comic Buffy burns down the school gym where the dance was held in order to kill all the vampires inside, in the movie it's not clear who killed all the vampires, they're just laying there staked.
After Pike and Buffy leave take each one their own way, Buffy slays for a while but without Lothos she thinks there won't be big threats so she goes back home with her family, they move from L.A. to Sunnydale, California because Buffy was expelled from school for burning the gym.
Buffy and her mom Joyce want to start fresh... just the 2 of them because Hank, the father, cheated on Joyce and left.
The series start when they arrive to Sunnydale.
"En cada generación nace una cazadora: una chica en todo el mundo, una elegida. Ella sola enfrentará vampiros, demonios y las fuerzas de la oscuridad; para detenerlos de esparcir la maldad y reducir sus números. Ella es la Cazadora."
Esa es la línea de apertura en la primera temporada, y básicamente es toda la descripción de lo que es una cazadora.
La serie comienza donde la película termina... casi... un comic de Orígen fue hecho, muestra la misma historia de la película pero mas leal a la visión de Joss, es más oscura pero con toques de humor. Lothos es más malvado, Buffy no es tan ingenua como en la película, Merrick es mucho mejor, en la película todo el tiempo parece que no sabe que está haciendo ahí, se nota que el actor no estaba complacido con el rol.
La diferencia entre la película y el comic es que en el comic Buffy quema el gimnasio de la escuela donde fue el baile con tal de matar a todos los vampiros dentro, en la película no está claro quien los mata, solo yacen ahí estacados.
Luego de que Pike y Buffy se van cada uno toma su propio camino, Buffy caza por un tiempo pero sin Lothos cree que no habrá grandes amenazas así que regresa a casa con su familia, se mudan de Los Angeles a Sunnydale, California porque Buffy fue expulsada de la escuela por quemar el gimnasio.
Buffy y su madre Joyce quieren comenzar de nuevo... solo las dos porque Hank, el padre, engañó a Joyce y se fue.
La serie comienza cuando llegan a Sunnydale.

They are the main cast through the 7 seasons, I won't resume the whole series because I don't want to make this long and also I don't want to throw many spoilers, but I'll make a brief description of each season.
Son el elenco principal a traves de las 7 temporadas, no resumiré toda la serie porque no quiero alargar mucho esto y tampoco quiero dar spoilers de todo, pero haré una breve descripción de cada temporada.
Season 1
Buffy thinks she left the slaying behind, when she moves to Sunnydale she immediately starts to hang out with Cordelia, the popular girl, who suggests Buffy to stay away from the losers, Xander and Willow.
Everything is normal until she meets the school librarian, Giles, who happens to be her new watcher.
Buffy fights once again against her destiny, she lost a watcher, her friends and her life before, she doesn't want to go through this again.
She can't escape her calling, she has to face new threats and defeat the Master, an ancient vampire who is trapped beneath the city. Buffy learns that Sunnydale is placed over the Hellmouth, which is pretty much what it sounds like, the mouth of Hell... a door that is like a beacon for supernatural forces.
She and her friends Xander and Willow, call themselves "the Scooby gang" because they solve mysteries around town but with real monsters instead of masked persons pretending to be monsters. They fight together and sometimes Cordelia helps them because she knows something weird happens in the city, also Buffy gets help from Angel, an apparently nice guy who happens to know about the supernatural but... yeah... he's a vampire... and as expected, he and Buffy fall in love. But he's not a regular vampire, he's cursed with a soul... we'll get into that next season... In the end of the first season, Buffy finds out there's a prophecy that says the Master will kill her and he does, he drinks her blood and drawns her, but because Buffy didn't fight alone like other slayers, she's saved by simple CPR performed by Xander, she comes back stronger and able to slay the Master.
Temporada 1
Buffy piensa que dejó la cacería atras, cuando se muda a Sunnidale inmediatamente empieza a juntarse con Cordelia, la chica popular, quien le sugiere se aleje de los perdedores Xander y Willow.
Todo es normal hasta que conoce al bibliotecario de la escuela, Giles, quien resulta ser su nuevo Vigilante.
Buffy nuevamente pelea contra su destino, ya perdió a su vigilante, amigos y su vida antes y no quiere repetirlo.
No puede escapar a su llamado, tiene que enfrentar nuevas amenazas y derrotar al Maestro, un vampiro ancestral atrapado bajo la ciudad. Buffy se entera que Sunnydale está localizada sobre la Boca del Infierno, que es tal cual lo que suena, una boca al Infierno... una puerta que atrae fuerzas sobrenaturales.
Ella y sus amigos Xander y Willow se hacen llamar "la pandilla Scooby" porque resuelven misterios por la ciudad pero con monstruos reales en vez de personas enmascaradas pretendiendo ser monstruos. Pelean juntos y a veces Cordelia los ayuda porque sabe que algo extraño pasa en la ciudad. También, Buffy obtiene ayuda de Ángel, un chico aparentemente agradable que sabe de lo sobrenatural, pero si... es un vampiro... y como era de esperarse, el y Buffy se enamoran. Pero no es un vampiro común, está maldito con un alma... veremos eso en la siguiente temporada... Al final de la primera temporada Buffy descubre que existe una profecía en la cual el Maestro la matará, y lo hace, bebe su sangre y la ahoga, pero como Buffy no pelea sola como otras cazadoras, es salvada por simple RCP realizado por Xander, regresa más fuerte y capaz de derrotar al Maestro.
Season 2
Buffy and Angel are full romance mode, but it's not as silly as Twilight... yeah, I don't like the Twilight saga, here they deal with the drama of a Vampire and a Slayer being in love,the two of them know they can't be together in the future but they focus on the present.
We meet Spike and Drusilla, both old vampires but not as old as Angel who is around 2 centuries old. Angel sired (turned) Drusilla and years later she sired Spike, so they're all "family" but they aren't cursed by a soul so the couple is pure evil.
The myth of the Slayer in the series changes from the movie where they reincarnate, here when a slayer dies another one is called immediately, and since Buffy died for some minutes another Slayer was activated, Kendra, played by Bianca Lawson.
The curse on Angel was about him having his soul to suffer all the killings he did as a soulless vampire, he lives full of regret and is supposed to be suffering forever, the only way the curse could be broken is if he experienced a moment of true happiness... he gets true happiness by being with Buffy, they confess their mutual love and next day Angel is a soulless monster, Buffy must decide if she saves the world or the love of her life.
While all this happens, Willow is on her way to become a witch thanks to her research on occultism during the year to help Buffy, also she meets Oz who becomes her first boyfriend and turns out to be a Wearewolf.
The end of the season isn't a happy one, Buffy leaves town, Angel is in hell, Kendra is dead, Joyce learns her daughter is a Slayer and doesn't react very well.
Temporada 2
Buffy y Angel están en modo romance, pero sin ser tan ridículo como Crepúsculo... si, no me gusta la saga Crepúsculo, aquí lidian con el drama de un Vampiro y una Cazadora estar enamorados, los dos saben que no pueden estar juntos en el futuro pero se enfocan en el presente.
Conocemos a Spike y Drusilla, ambos viejos vampiros pero no tanto como Angel que ronda los 2 siglos de antigüedad. Angel convirtió a Drusilla, y años después ella convirtió a Spike así que son "familia" pero ellos no están malditos con un alma así que la pareja es pura maldad.
El mito de la Cazadora en la serie difiere de la película donde son reencarnaciones, aquí cuando una Cazadora muere otra es llamada inmediatamente, y ya que Buffy murió por unos minutos otra Cazadora fue activada, Kendra, interpretada por Bianca Lawson.
La maldición de Angel trataba sobre tener su alma para sufrir por todos los asesinatos que cometió como vampiro, vive lleno de arrepentimiento y se supone debe sufrir eternamente, el único modo de romper la maldición es si experimenta un momento de completa felicidad... obtiene su completa felicidad estando con Buffy, se confiesan su amor mutuo y al siguiente día Angel es un mounstruo sin alma, Buffy debe decidir entre salvar al mundo a al amor de su vida.
Mientras esto ocurre, Willow está en su camino a convertirse en una bruja gracias a su investigación sobre lo oculto durante su año ayudando a Buffy, también conoce a Oz quien se hace su primer novio y resulta ser un hombre lobo.
El final de la temporada no es uno feliz, Buffy se va de la ciudad, Angel está en el infierno, Kendra está muerta, Joyce descubre que su hija es una Cazadora y no reacciona muy bien.
Season 3
Kendra's death activated a new Slayer called Faith which later goes rogue and joins the season's big bad.
Angel comes back from hell, he wants to be with Buffy, both want to be together but they know they can't, all the love they feel for each other has to be ignored for the sake of a greater good.
We meet Anya, who is a vengance demon, she grants wishes to scorned women but when the source of her power is broken she is stucked as a human.
The gang must think of their future, where to go to University, or what to do with their lives, Buffy never thought she would have a future but she embraces it when they defeat the big bad, who was the city's mayor but is a demon, but not any demon, he's a true demon, bigger, stronger, meaner, but just as he turns he's blown up along with the whole highschool.
Angel and Cordelia leave town, him to stay away from Buffy for good, and Cordelia to persue her acting career, both end up in Los Angeles on their own spin off show "Angel".
Temporada 3
La muerte de Kendra activó a una nueva Cazadora llamada Faith, quien luego cambia de bando uniéndose al gran malo de la temporada.
Angel regresa del infierno, quiere estar con Buffy, ambos quieren estar juntos pero saben que no pueden, todo el amor que se tienen mutuamente debe ser ignorado por la seguridad de un bien mayor.
Conocemos a Anya, quien es un demonio vengativo, concede deseos a mujeres dolidas pero cuando la fuente de su poder es destruída se queda estancada como humana.
La pandilla debe decidir su futuro, a donde ir a la Universidad o qué hacer con sus vidas, Buffy nunca consideró tener un futuro pero lo acepta cuando vencen al enemigo, quien es el alcalde de la ciudad pero es un demonio, pero no cualquier demonio sino uno verdadero, más grande, fuerte y malvado, pero justo cuando se transforma es volado en pedazos junto con toda la preparatoria.
Angel y Cordelia se van de la ciudad, el para alejarse de Buffy para siempre y Cordelia para perseguir su carrera de actriz, ambos terminan en Los Ángeles en su propio programa spin off "Ángel".
Season 4
It's college time, new school, new lifestyle, new threats.
Buffy struggles with life on campus, takes her a while to adjust to her new lifestyle.
Spike comes back to Sunnydale planning on release chaos but is captured by mysterious military men. Science and Myth collide, the military men are part of an organization called the Initiative who experiment on demons. They implant a chip on Spike's head that prevents him from hurting any living creature, he can't kill anymore.
We meet Riley Finn, an Initiative agent who finds out that what they're doing is wrong, not all demons are evil, he along with the Scooby gang bring down the Initiative. Another new person that joins the gang is Tara, she met Willow in a wiccan group at campus, both develop a friendship after Oz leaves town to find a way to control his inner wolf.
This season has the first of three "experimental" episodes, Hush, one with no dialogue during most of the episode, just actions, it mixes pretty well funny moments with tense ones, everything without any word being spoken.
Temporada 4
Es momento de la universidad, nueva escuela, nuevo estilo de vida, nuevas amenazas.
Buffy batalla con su vida en el campus, le toma un tiempo adaptarse a su nuevo estilo de vida.
Spike regresa a Sunnydale planeando crear caos pero es capturado por misteriosos hombres de milicia. La ciencia y el mito chocan, los militares forman parte de una organización llamada la Iniciativa quienes experimentan con demonios. Implantan un chip en la cabeza de Spike que le impide lastimar a cualquier criatura viva, ya no puede matar.
Conocemos a Riley Finn, un agente de la Iniciativa que descubre que lo que hacen está mal, no todos los demonios son malos, el junto con la pandilla Scooby desmoronan la Iniciativa. Otra nueva persona que se une a la pandilla es Tara, ella conoce a Willow en un grupo wiccan del campus, ambas desarrollan una amistad luego de que Oz se va de la ciudad para buscar una manera de controlar su lobo interno.
Esta temporada tiene el primero de tres episodios "experimentales", Silencio, uno sin nada de diálogo gran parte del episodio, solo acciones, mezcla muy bien momentos divertidos con los tensos, todo sin ninguna palabra hablada.
Season 5
Buffy's little sister is annoying... didn't I mention she had a younger sister? oh well... she does... and yes, she appears one day and everyone acts as if she's always been there.
The gang must face this time a God from a hell dimension who is trapped in a human body, as a mortal he's Ben, a random doctor, as a God turns into Glory, a gorgeous woman who is very strong and wants to go back to her own dimension, to do so she has to open a portal with a mystical Key that was hidden somewhere and put under the Slayer's protection.
Have you guessed where's the key? yep, Buffy's mysterious sister is this mystical Key, but no one knows, not even Dawn herself.
Buffy and Dawn face not only the drama of being chased by a Hell God, they also face the loss of their mother, this features the second "experimental" episode, The Body, with no background music, silent moments make you feel the sorrow of losing a close person, you can feel the character's pain, also this episode features one of the first LGBT+ kisses on screen back on those days, no warning at all, just shown naturally how Tara and Willow support each other, their friendship evolved into a relationship which wasn't shown explicitly, but still you could see its development and it all felt natural and cute, fandom loved that ship.
All characters show growth here, even Spike who in spite of have been living for hundreds of years, now is learning how to be a good man.
The end of the season marks the end of the show in the WB network, Buffy ends up dead and the last scene is a close up to her gravestone.
Temporada 5
La pequeña hermana de Buffy es molesta... ¿mencioné que tenía una hermana menor? ah bueno... la tiene... y si, aparece un día y todos actúan como si siempre hubiera estado ahí.
La pandilla debe enfrentar a un Dios de una dimensión infernal atrapada en un cuerpo humano, como mortal es Ben, un doctor cualquiera, como Diosa se transforma en Glory, una mujer muy fuerte que quiere regresar a su propia dimensión, para hacerlo debe abrir un portal con una llave mística la cual fue oculta y puesta bajo protección de la Cazadora.
¿Ya adivinaron donde está la llave? sip, la hermana misteriosa de Buffy es esta llave mística, pero nadie sabe, ni siquiera la misma Dawn.
Buffy y Dawn enfrentan no solo el drama de ser perseguidas por una Diosa Infernal, también enfrentan la pérdida de su madre, aquí se presenta el segundo episodio "experimental", El Cuerpo, sin música de fondo, los momentos silenciosos te hacen sentir el dolor de perder a un ser querido, puedes sentir el dolor de los personajes, también este episodio presenta uno de los primeros besos LGBT+ en pantalla de aquellos días, sin aviso previo, solo se mostró naturalmente como Tara y Willow se apoyan mutuamente, su amistad evolucionó a una relación la cual no fue mostrada de manera explícita, pero aun así se podía ver su desarrollo y todo se sintió natural y lindo, los fans adoraron esa relación.
Todos los personajes muestran crecimiento, incluso Spike quien a pesar de haber vivido cientos de años ahora está aprendiendo a ser un buen hombre.
El final de la temporada marka el fin del show en la cadena WB, Buffy termina muerta y la última escena es un acercamiento a su lápida.
Season 6
New network, the show moved to UPN, which later I think it became the CW, I'm not sure...
The gang must get used to a world without the Slayer, at this point Faith is still in jail due to her crimes when she joined the mayor in season 3.
They hide to everyone the fact that Buffy is dead, they plan to bring her back with magic, they succeed but not everything is happiness with her return, she was pulled out from heaven and doesn't want to be in this world. Willow starts to spiral down a dark path, she and Tara break up because Willow abuses magic and uses dark spells not caring about consequences.
This season big bad are a trio of geeks who just want to play vilian and compare themselves to Lex Luthor or Darth Vader... they're a pain for everyone and no one takes them seriously.
One member of the trio wants to be really a bad guy, he wants to kill Buffy in order to be recognized as the man who murdered the Slayer, he shots her and unjures her, he shots more bullets and one hits Tara, she and Willow just made up and then this guy ruins it all.
Willow lets herself go, embraces dark magic becoming a powerful witch, Buffy is no match for her. We lose one of the most loved couples from the show.
This season presents the last of the three "experimental" episodes, Once More With Feeling, a musical episode, Anthony Head and Amber Benson (Giles and Tara) surprise us with great singing voices. The whole town starts singing because a demon is making them all sing their true feelings, if they don't sing what they feel they dance non stop until they burst into flames, nice huh?
Temporada 6
Nueva cadena, el show se movió a UPN, que luego creo se hizo la CW, no estoy segura...
La pandilla debe acostumbrarse a un mundo sin Cazadora, a este punto Faith sigue en prisión por sus crímenes de cuando se unió al alcalde en la temporada 3.
Esconden a todos el hecho de que Buffy está muerta, planean regresarla con magia, tienen éxito pero no todo es felicidad a su retorno, fue sacada del paraíso y no quiere estar en este mundo. Willow comienza a caer por un espiral al camino oscuro, ella y Tara rompen porque Willow abusa de la magia y usa hechizos oscuros sin importarle consecuencias.
El gran malvado de esta temporada son un trío de geeks que solo quieren jugar al villano y se comparan con Lex Luthor o Darth Vader... son un dolor para todos y nadie los toma en serio.
Un miembro del trío quiere realmente ser un chico malo, quiere matar a Buffy para ser reconocido como el hombre que asesinó a la Cazadora, le dispara y la hiere, dispara más balas y una impacta a Tara, ella y Willow recién se habían reconciliado y este sujeto lo arruina todo.
Willow se deja ir, se envuelve con magia negra convirtiéndose en una bruja muy poderosa, Buffy no es rival para ella. Perdemos una de las parejas mas amadas del programa.
Esta temporada presenta el último de los tres episodios "experimentales", Una Vez Más Con Sentimiento, un episodio musical, Anthony Head y Amber Benson (Giles y Tara) nos sorprenden con sus voces. Toda la ciudad comienza a cantar a causa de un demonio que los hace cantar sus sentimientos, y si no cantan lo que sienten bailan sin parar hasta prenderse en llamas, lindo ¿no?
Season 7
The final season, evil goes worldwide, the gang faces The First Evil, the one who was behind all the baddies they faced through all seasons, he recruits an army of Ubervamps called Turok Han, which are the first vampires that roamed earth, you could say they're the cavemen version of vampires.
Buffy recruits her own army, potential Slayers, girls from around the world who could be the next Slayer if Faith dies.
Buffy and Spike rely on each other, there's betrayal amongst the gang, the two living Slayers finally team up, Buffy meets the men who thousands of years ago created the first Slayer. She founds a mythical weapon meant to be used only by Slayers, Willow feels magic from it.
With Willow's power, the Slayer's weapon called Schythe, and the army of potentials, the gang change the world, rule says that only one girl in all the world should be the Slayer, well they break that rule and turn every potential into real Slayers. The final fight is so intense that the whole city is destroyed.
We lose dear characters in that last fight, one for good, one to come back later in Angel's final season.
Temporada 7
La temporada final, el mal se hace mundial, la pandilla encara al Primer Mal, quien ha estado tras todos los malvados que han enfrentado por todas las temporadas, ese mal recluta un ejército de Ubervampiros llamados Turok Han, quienes son los primeros vampiros que rondaron la tierra, podría decirse que son la versión cavernaria de los vampiros.

There's a season six episode in Buffy where she has hallucinations about living in a different world, one where she's in a mental institution and all she remembers about being the Slayer is fake, (a Charmed episode that came out later was highly compared to this one because it was very similar).
At the end of the episode Buffy decides to stay in her own world where she's the Slayer, but the episode shows a catatonic Buffy locked up in the mental institution, her medic informs her parents that they lost her, she's gone, leaving the door open to believe that the other world was also real, and in that world is where Buffy and Cyclops are cousins.
Joss wanted to add a line where Scott says that he has a cousin locked up in a mental institution because she thinks vampires are real, but that line was never added in the comics, not yet at least.

There's a theory that Jessica Jones is a Slayer, in the series it's said Jessica was the only survivor from a crash accident, all her family died and she survived unharmed, according to her story this happened around the same year that Buffy's final season aired, if Cyclops and Buffy could be related this connects the whole marvel universe with the Buffyverse, so it's possible that Jessica was a potential Slayer and becoming full slayer is what saved her from that crash.
Jessica's powers are enhanced strenght, speed, accelerated healing, she has visions in her dreams... all of those are the same skills a Slayer gets when she's called.

In Angel is mentioned that Wolfram & Hart are present in different dimensions, Joss Whedon directly placed this easter egg in Avengers, but who knows, Wolfram & Hart's reach was never cleared, it was just said they ruled in several dimensions, Asgard may not be safe from their reach.
