Maniquí, un cortometraje. Muy interesante al cual me invitaron a pertenecer, donde se aborda claramente una situación por la cuál solemos pasar casi todos los artistas, o lo que intetamos involucrarnos en el mundo del Arte.

Yo como editor tengo mucho que indagar en el director antes de comenzar a trabajar, en este caso estaba conociendo a José por primera vez, así que tenía que indagar mucho en él, para así entender lo que quería comunicar, me imagino que los artistas que estén leyendo esto me van a entender, uno siempre termina siendo casi un psicólogo con cada cliente que llega, por lo general tenemos que tocar sentimientos y emociones de los cuales hay que desarrollar para poder crear, tanto así que podemos tocar espacios muy delicados, esa no es la intención pero suele pasar.

Cómo montador en la post-producción siempre estoy pensando, como contar la historia que desea comunicar el director, en este caso la propuesta estética me parece muy interesante ya que plantea trabajar con la técnica de metonimia y el elipsis, que para mí estás dos acciones son un motor importante para generar el movimiento.

En este caso, en el cortometraje podemos ver un personaje que se encuentra en un espacio y tiempo. Esta imagen a la cual se le hace referencia con el título "Maniquí" se le acercan y se alejan diferentes personajes en su entorno lo cuales quitan y agregan objetos a través de su representación en el espacio, lo que nos ayuda a identificar a la mamá, el papá, la novia, y a la esposa, cada uno de ellos representa un tiempo de la vida del personaje la entra a escena de cada uno nos habla de la edad actual del protagonista, este es un ejemplo de la metonimia aplicada al espectador, generando ese movimiento audiovisual y pensante a mismo tiempo.
