Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.

The Details

Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject. Over all effort will be considered, and those chosen will be featured in a post just like this with a percentage of the post rewards being distributed as a reward.

There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and four (4) total posts will be chosen frequently.

Coming to Netflix in August

Unfortunately, August 1st seems as though it is going to be a bit of a dead date for 2021 and I am not very excited about most of what is coming. However, there are a few that I consider to be gems and if you haven't seen them I think you should.

About Elly [ENG | ESP]: the weight of secrets | el peso de los secretos

Asghar Farhadi is a great Iranian film director and the mastermind behind Forushande (The Salesman) and the Oscar winner Jodaeiye Nader az Simin (A Separation), two of the best international films of recent decades that demonstrate how a great script and excellent direction can come together to make a memorable movie without needing a big budget or special effects.

Mimi- A hit or miss?

After getting some spare time yesterday's evening I ran to watch Netflix. Wondering which movies should be watched since I cannot give commitment to a series due to lack of free time.
No.1 in India for now was Mimi! A two and a half hours long movie which was just perfect for me to binge watch.

Wrath of Man - Film Review [ESP/ENG]

Since I was a child I always saw action movies, stories led by characters with dangerous pasts that now have a normal and quiet life, but it seems that they always have a mark on their back that attracts serious problems and the only way to solve them is to return to the person they were before and that means a wave of violence that does not stop until the last of their enemies, I think with this I have described what is used as a basis for a large number of films, some very good, some regular and of course others bad; this kind of stories are always accompanied by situations from which these characters can not escape such as being in the wrong place at the wrong time or looking for trouble to the wrong people and just this film is a clear example of all that I have described above, I can say that I had long not seen a film like this, but that's not entirely true, what I can say is that I had long not seen a story where a group of characters were at the wrong time, in the wrong place and looking for trouble to someone who should never have been bothered.
