Movies & TV Shows Community Highlight #2

movies-and-tv-shows.png

Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional and/or unique content.

The Details

Throughout the week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject. General effort will be considered, and those chosen will be featured in a post just like this with a percentage of the post rewards being distributed as a reward.

There's no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup aimed at providing additional exposure to you all for your efforts. Simply have fun posting in the Movies and TV Shows Community and we'll choose a minimum of five (5) posts to highlight. Depending on weekly activity, we may increase this to ten (10) highlighted posts and increase frequency of these reports.

Peaky Blinders Season 1: The dichotomy between solid and cool

The funny thing is that it is presented as a historical drama and while technically that's true, the execution shows simpler intentions than that. Yes, the story is about a family of gangsters during the 20s, but at the end of the day it is nothing more than an engine for an aesthetic display that has the almost sole intention of making the Shelby brothers look like the cool guys of the story.

My Octopus Teacher

We are used to watching wildlife documentaries where man acts as a keen observer trying to capture the habits and relationships established between the different species in their different environments. They are informative-educational documentaries that reach the general public and we enjoy them as curiosities of a world that, most of the time, is alien to us.

Nomadland Review

Undoubtedly it is a movie that is really worth watching, it is one of those where you can spend a quiet time with few emotions, but with an inspiring message from start to finish that if you are one of those with an open mind, but with your feet on the ground I'm sure it will quickly capture your attention and maybe you can take advantage of it in your day to day life.

Essay on Streaming, the new user and digital cinema

This last point touches me a lot, due to the processes of my personal experience in cinematography, since one begins studying cinema and ends up doing more audiovisual when starting to work in the medium, a situation that can affect so much that you lose the creative spirit; In my case, I have always been a technician who always imagines that he is making movies, even though I don't have all the equipment, I never stop taking advantage of all digital media to be able to do what I like, in a pandemic, without a pandemic, With Streaming or without Streaming, the technique and the cinematographic method of montage is in me and nobody will be able to with this great passion that I have for making cinema.
