MOVIE REVIEW: "Cruella" (2021)

In its latest attempt to deliver a live action faithful to the concepts of his most classic drawings, a new project has won the green light from Disney studios: the origin of the villain Cruella. In a bolder view, there is a bolder approach to the story of the troubled child who became a wicked woman and who gradually became a villain with psychotic tendencies against animals. However, even taking a few steps in search of offering something more challenging to the public, the script does not get very far and ends up being just a pseudo-villainous version of a clearly problematic woman in lighter layers. Attempts to create something more than expected were in vain, but that does not mean that the movie is not fun.

SOUND OF METAL // El sonido del metal [ENG-ESP]

When I read what this film was about, I immediately wanted to see it. A musician who suddenly loses his hearing - how terrible! It seemed to me like a painter who loses his sight. And other examples that are not worth mentioning. The point is that the individual loses the ability or sense on which he depends mostly to develop his art, which sometimes is the same as his livelihood. How is he going to do? Without wishing to be pessimistic, this situation may be more real than we would like. In an era of pandemic many have lost their livelihoods, their jobs, their projects have been put on hold by something unforeseen and force majeure, and of which they have little control. I don't consider this film to be inspirational, to invite you to dream and fill you with a zest for life, but I think there are serious reasons to see this film differently

Movie Review Week Session | Bridget Jones Diary .. Absolutely amazing !

I don't do much 🎬 reviews because I don't spend enough time watching it and even if I do, I don't bother to write any reviews about it. I'm more of a food review person. Yet, for this time around, I'd thought it'll be nice to share my view of a movie which I used to enjoy and had recently watched it again on HBO. After all when in 21-days quarantine, if it's not my 📱 or 💻 or ⌚️, it'll be the 📺 that I'm staring at. So, while browsing through the tv channels, I came across this movie..

F.R.I.E.N.D.S [ENG | ESP]: what they taught us | lo que nos enseñaron

A few days ago, was the premiere of the long-awaited reunion of the members of F.r.i.e.n.d.s, the iconic NBC comedy that despite having ended in 2004, continues to gain new fans every year, thanks to the retransmissions of cable companies and streaming platforms. Translated into hundreds of languages and viewed by hundreds of millions of people in more than two hundred countries. the series is more than a generational boom. The cultural impact of this program (styles, hairstyles, phrases, places, references) is enormous. For that reason, more than talking about the nostalgic reunion, I want to talk about the core of the incredible success of the series: the characters.

Movie Review: "A Streetcar Named Desire" (1951): A drama that will leave you spellbound

Of the classic films that astonished the world, there is one that was preserved as a cinematic work within the cultural realm. A story full of drama, power struggle and lies, it has become a life force that dazzled the world. There are few cinematic representations that teach us about attraction in its different representations in such an original way.
