Saludos querida comunidad, hoy les daré mi opinión y crítica sobre esta película recién estrenada el 31 de marzo de este año 2021. Godzilla vs. Kong dirigida por Adam Wingard, fue grabada por la empresa Legendary y su franquicia MonsterVerse, y está protagonizada por Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, Kaylee Hottle y Demián Bichir.
Kong es ese simio gigante que todos conocemos, salió en pantalla por primera vez en los años 1933 y luego ha sufrido varias adaptaciones o versiones, mientras que Godzilla es un poco más moderno teniendo su primera aparición en 1954 aunque ya mucho antes se creaban películas de ese estilo con lagartos gigantes destruyendo todo a su paso.

Kong is the giant ape that we all know, first appeared on screen in 1933 and then has undergone several adaptations or versions, while Godzilla is a little more modern having its first appearance in 1954 although long before that movies were created in that style with giant lizards destroying everything in its path.
Ambos titanes (Godzilla y King Kong) tienen la semejanza de destruir todo lo que encuentren en su camino y ser gigantescos, muy fuertes y casi invencibles. Legendary tuvo la idea de enfrentarlos, porque ambos son muy grandes y destructivos y sólo puede haber uno en el planeta, es decir, solo uno es digno de destruirlo todo. Entonces vemos a Kong viviendo en cautiverio, siendo atendido las 24 horas al día, pero no está contento y quiere salir de su "cárcel". Por otro lado Godzilla como rey de los océanos, destruyendo cualquier cosa que pueda ser una amenaza para él, ya que él siente la fuerza de todos, y al sentir la presencia de alguien o algo muy fuerte lo elimina antes de ser un peligro para él.
Both titans (Godzilla and King Kong) have the similarity of destroying everything in their path and being gigantic, very strong and almost invincible. Legendary had the idea of confronting them, because they are both very big and destructive and there can only be one on the planet, that is, only one is worthy of destroying everything. So we see Kong living in captivity, being cared for 24 hours a day, but he is not happy and wants to get out of his "prison". On the other hand Godzilla as king of the oceans, destroying anything that could be a threat to him, since he feels the strength of everyone, and when he feels the presence of someone or something very strong he eliminates it before being a danger to him.
Debo decir que el guión y argumento están bien, pero la película no lo está. Tiene un dialogo muy superficial, las actuaciones no son buenas, algunas veces se ven muy sobreactuados, otros veces no tienen ninguna naturalidad, no se siente una conexión entre los actores y lo que ocurre, algunos dirán que por ser la mayoría de las cosas generadas a computadora es muy difícil crear esa conexión, pero en otras películas generadas virtualmente vemos esa conexión en los actores y ámbito, entonces no es una excusa.
Tiene buenas escenas pero se pudo mejorar considerando que la mayoría fueron generadas a computadora. Los golpes, movimientos y físicas generados de manera virtual son toscos, insisto, se pudo aprovechar mejor el motor computacional. A pesar de haber contado con un presupuesto de 160 millones de dólares, en las escenas de las luchas de estos dos titanes me sentía como ver una versión reciente de los Power Rangers.
I must say that the script and plot are good, but the movie is not. It has a very superficial dialogue, the performances are not good, sometimes they look very overacted, other times they don't have any naturalness, you don't feel a connection between the actors and what happens, some will say that because most of the things are computer generated it is very difficult to create that connection, but in other virtually generated movies we see that connection in the actors and scope, so it's not an excuse.
There are good scenes but they could have been improved considering that most of them were computer generated. The blows, movements and physics generated in a virtual way are rough, I insist, the computer engine could have been better used. Despite the $160 million budget, the fight scenes of these two titans felt like watching a recent version of Power Rangers.
La música no está mal, cuenta con la participación Tom Holkenborg, música de "Requiem" de György Ligeti, y también "Here We Go" de Chris Classic. Pero la mejor está al final como cereza del pastel colocando a Kong en su lugar natal como rey dominante de sus tierras mientras de fondo suena The Air That I Breathe - The Hollies.
The music is not bad, it featured Tom Holkenborg, music from György Ligeti's "Requiem", and also Chris Classic's "Here We Go". But the best was at the end as the icing on the cake placing Kong in his native place as the dominant king of his lands while The Air That I Breathe - The Hollies - plays in the background.
En resumen , no voy a negar que tiene buenos momentos y picos emocionantes breves, a pesar que tiene buenas críticas y tuvo mucho hype, yo le daría una calificación de 4 en base a 10, pero como dije al principio, es solo mi crítica, mi opinión, y no voy a negar que es el estilo de película que me gusta poco, aunque estoy tratando de ser los más imparcial posible. Lo que sí me ha gustado mucho es la cantidad de memes generados.

In short, I will not deny that it has good moments and brief exciting peaks, although it has good reviews and had a lot of hype, I would give it a rating of 4 out of 10, but as I said at the beginning, it is only my review, my opinion, and I will not deny that it is the style of film that I like little, although I am trying to be as unbiased as possible. What I did like a lot is the amount of memes generated.
